Investigate the lab that Lokk-Agar is in to the best of my ability. Any interesting data to be gleaned, fascinating objects to pilfer?

Most of the crates in the lab are sealed, except for the one next to the slain scientist's desk, which is full of pieces of electronics and gadgets. You're not sure what the gadgets are for, or even if they're valuable. One looks like a scanner of some sort, maybe. Another might be for containing gasses. Nothing particularly interesting. This lab might be used to test these items.

"What's that?" the guard asks.
"Damn Lab 5 reader is on the fritz again, apparently. This is the 4th time today. You mind going to let him in?"

He gives you an annoyed look. "Not in my job description, mate. 'Sides, I gotta wait for goblin Joe and his faithful companion. I'll keep your chair warm for you."

" Hmm maybe you can give me a boost, I'll repay the lot with interest with increased interest if it makes you feel better but I need 5000.

If he refuses then accept the 1500.

"Sorry, I can't go over 1500. It's against policy, in your case."

He does some paperwork, and negotiates with you about the default interest rates. You take the best one he offers you, an 8%, one year plan. He describes to you several concepts; compound interest rates, amortization, and other financial jazz.

"130.48c will be deducted from your account every month for twelve months. Please make sure you keep at least that much in your account to avoid penalties. Just sign here, and here, and IDN here, and I'll transfer the funds."

Take it then go get ready for the tournament the next day.

"Well, I've found out why the Dread Mothers are here.  Seems they have a sword here in confinement one.  It is supposedly sentient, extremely powerful and eager to escape.  I suggest investigating further, if everything else goes to plan."

Look for the nearest card terminal, then activate it and try to get an exact location for both the mainframe and our target.

"Fine, fine." Get up and start walking down the north hallway towards Lab 5.

As soon as I'm a little bit away from the guard, get on earpiece and talk quickly and quietly. "I'm walking north from the guard station to the door south of Lab 5. I need that door to open when I get there. If you've got a card, get ready."

((No one's gonna respond to his call?))

With your new A class keycard, you are able to track the other scientists in the building. All three of them are in lab B3. Alenya Foren, Leo Gambit, and Gloriously-Break. The mainframe is in the same place as shown on the previous map, on level B-2, near the confinement cells. Its door requires an S class keycard to open.

Take it then go get ready for the tournament the next day.

You retire to your apartment and wait for the tournament...

The next day, you are at the Cistern, waiting for your turn in line. Soon you come to the front, where a large man is taking tokens besides a thinner man, a clerk, most likely.

"I need your token and 100 credits as an entry fee," the man says, folding his arms.

Darn I totally missed the update.

Pay fee and get my ticket then go check around all the people taking bets to see who's giving the best odds on me, and check who I'm fighting and how good he is.

"Don't worry, I've got the door."

Wait by the inside of the lab 5 door.  When Hapah signals he is ready, use keycard to open the door, staying out of sight.

"Don't worry, I've got the door."

Wait by the inside of the lab 5 door.  When Hapah signals he is ready, use keycard to open the door, staying out of sight.

You activate the door from your side and it slides open, allowing Armoth to pass through.

Darn I totally missed the update.

Pay fee and get my ticket then go check around all the people taking bets to see who's giving the best odds on me, and check who I'm fighting and how good he is.

You're going up against someone called Major. He's a newcomer as well, so most of the betting odds are around 3:1 for you to win. The best odds put you at 2:1, while the worst peg you at 6:1. Seems like most don't have confidence in your abilities.

Major himself looks pretty tough. He wears an oil stained wifebeater and torn jeans with a camo hat. Looking down in the arena, you see pit scum set up two racks at opposite ends of the cistern. No lethal weapons. Staffs, clubs, knuckles. The clerk tells you there is a bonus for people who fight unarmed.

Place 1000 with the broker who will give me the highest return when I win.

Get status update. Fix the door if I have something on my person that will let me.

((How exactly are you lot going to get into Lab 5 if the door is busted?))

Head into lab 5

Lab 5 is currently on lockdown, unfortunately.

Get status update. Fix the door if I have something on my person that will let me.

((How exactly are you lot going to get into Lab 5 if the door is busted?))

The door is sealed. Maybe a keycard will remedy the situation?

Place 1000 with the broker who will give me the highest return when I win.

"Whoa, there, calm down with those creds! I don't take any bet more than 50."
