Head to lab 5 since it sound like it has something to do with the mission

You approach the west doorway, but it is sealed! Do you wish to hack it?

"Ooh, hazmat suits. I want one."

Put on a hazmat suit if I can get to one. Should be useful for something, right?

You don a hazmat suit. It's bulky and cumbersome, but it makes you feel safe. At least, safe from chemicals. You see everything with a tint of orange, and your movements are slightly impaired.

Investigate Lab 7, stealthily.

You follow the railways to the northeast where a single door labelled 'LAB 7' waits for you. Using your keycard, you are able to open the door and enter the lab. Once inside, you find two railways leading into the room and back out. Tables line the walls, large crates set beside them. Most of the tables are free from clutter, but one table still has an occupant. A lomaner scientist sits, his face lying on the table among electronics, sleeping.

Quote from: That Guard
"I don't know about you, mate, but that goblin creeps me the fuck out." the remaining guard says, pulling out a cigarette and leaning against your desk.
Armoth chuckles and lights a cigarette himself "No argument there."

"What the hell are we doing making a fucking sword, anyway? Guns are where the money is these days."

"Hm? They aren't making the sword, they're studying it. Apparently it's some nice artifact blade with special magical properties. They didn't tell me much else, 'sides the fact that it's sealed up in con 1, behind two Dread Mothers. I guess they don't tell you much, eh?"

(( 900 sounds about right. ))

Agree to the meeting but request a private room for it.

"Of course, we respect all our clients wishes," the bank employee says as he leads you to another room where a gesoon man sits behind a desk. He lets you inside and returns to his own desk, leaving you and the gesoon alone.

"You're looking for a loan? Come, take a seat and we can discuss a plan." Although you two are alone, a single camera can be seen in the corner of the ceiling.

Of course

You attempt to hack this card reader, but this time you aren't so lucky. You fail to successfully bypass the reader, and as a result the doors to lab 5 are locked down. The console gives you a short message: 'ERROR 4 02: Please wait for assistance.' Meanwhile...

... At Boris' guard station, the console lights up and begins beeping. Armoth would see in red letters: 'Lab 5 door error, assist QXSARDS, READ01'.

"What's that?" the guard asks.

"So, how can we go about allowing me a larger loan? 1000 simply wouldn't cut it for my purposes."

"Let me just check up on your information... Hm, yes, it seems your credit score doesn't quite meet the prerequisites for a loan larger than, oh, say 1500 credits. If we had some collateral we might be able to arrange something. However, if you do manage to pay off a loan like this in a timely manner, that would put you in good standing with us, opening up more possibilities."

"Well, the only actually stealthy way to eliminate someone is to not eliminate them at all, as a common adage goes. You always get these people who think that knocking out everyone in a reputable establishment and making off with their valuables makes them accomplished thieves, when they're really just being thugs. Still, pretty sure nobody'll mind a giant pool of blood when we get done with the last bit of our mission, eh?"

Use my knife to eliminate the sleeping scientist as quietly as possible, then grab his key card.

(( I have a house or something right? I mean I must live somewhere.

Out of curiosity, what systems does the set of power armor that costs 5000 come with other then magic resistance?))

By default, all players start in an apartment that you pay rent on. You can't put down an apartment for collateral, of course. You also do not own a car or any really expensive valuables.

The runeguard armour is inlaid with protective runes that nullify magic. The base set is standard heavy armour that has amplifies strength and endurance, can be outfit with combat drugs, has night vision, infrared vision, camera feed, commlink adapters, and a filter for breathing. I think that's everything.

((Do I believe that I could open the Lab 5 door from my workstation?))

Nope, the message is telling you do go there and fix the problem personally.

Use my knife to eliminate the sleeping scientist as quietly as possible, then grab his key card.

You sneak over to the scientist and slit his throat in one quick motion. He let's out a choking gasp before quickly dying and falling to the floor. On his person is a wallet, an outdated cellphone, two A class keycards, and an envelope labelled 'A CLASS PERSONNEL'. There is a letter in the envelope:

'Attention Researchers:

The sword is stored is CONFINEMENT ONE. Due to its erratic magical nature, anyone assigned to CON must wear a Honours hexproof suit. If the PRODUCT calls out to you, IGNORE THE VOICE. The PRODUCT is intelligent and WILL attempt to escape. The Dread Mothers are here for your safety as much as for the sword's. DO NOT cross the Mothers or attempt to pass them without authorization S!

" Hmm maybe you can give me a boost, I'll repay the lot with interest with increased interest if it makes you feel better but I need 5000.

If he refuses then accept the 1500.

Investigate the lab that Lokk-Agar is in to the best of my ability. Any interesting data to be gleaned, fascinating objects to pilfer?

"What's that?" the guard asks.
"Damn Lab 5 reader is on the fritz again, apparently. This is the 4th time today. You mind going to let him in?"
