Dran takes off towards the south wall where he saw the airship docked, and everyone else gives chase, each with their own motive as they run in pursuit of the young treasure hunter! Shouts of alarm echo throughout the city as they sprint through the maze of alleyways winding through the sandy urban sprawl!
CHASE START! -
60m to the airship! The Nameless Girl tries to keep up, but is quickly left behind!
Kyle fails to trip Dran!
Beth struggles, slowing Dran down by [d3=1m]!
Current Distance to Airship/Positions [2d6]
Kyle 9m =
Jerik 9m
Dran +
Beth 9-1=8m
Derry 8m =
Alex 8m
Cromwell 7m
The shouts grow nearer! The guards will be upon you next turn!Players adjacent to one another can attempt to trip the other, knocking him down and giving him zero movement that turn.
Players 1m behind another can grab a character 1m ahead of him, causing the target's movement to be [grabber's movement+1].
Players can sacrifice 1d6 that turn to create an obstacle in their position.
Players must roll at least a 7 to mount obstacles, regardless of how far away they are from it. If you roll 7m while an obstacle is 7m away from you, you have successfully mounted it.
Players can specify a movement that they want to stop at. So if a player rolls 5m but they said they want to stop at 3m, they will only move 3m.
Players can also specify other characters that they want to keep pace with, but this only works if the other character's movement equalled or was less than what the player rolled.
Players may not reverse their movement. In other words unless tripped everyone will always move closer to the airship.
Guards move 2d6 per turn, and can strike targets up to 4m ahead of them with their pikes. Mounted Guards move 4d6 per turn but cannot pass obstacles, and can only strike targets adjacent to them.
No character may strike a target that is behind them, except with magic.
All players have a range of 1m ahead of them in melee, and 5m ahead
and behind them with magic.

Trainee Alchemist - Can use items on others, as well as identify most basic chemicals, metals, spices and herbs. Can make remedies and other concoctions.
Book Smart - You can read.
Make Golem - Create a golem from a pile of like materials (a bunch of rocks, a bunch of leaves, a pool of water). The way in which they are "like" can be vague, but the more clear the connection, the more powerful the golem is. Strength of the golem varies. The material which the golem is made of influences strength, abilities and personality. Golems are sentient, and 100% loyal to you.
Gear
Hooded Robes - Rough blue robes you found in an old chest while exploring the Oldway one night. They're a little big on you, and you wear three large leather belts (also too big) around your midsection to keep them from trailing. You've taken to hanging pouches and gourds from them to keep your remedies safe, as well as hold the many trinkets and oddities you find [+7 Inventory]. There's a hood, and you like to keep it bunched up around your neck to keep out the breeze.
Runic Crossbow - [5-9 DMG; 1 turn reload]

Friend of the Earth - Knows a lot about the physical attributes and habits of animals and plant life, especially that which resides in the forest, though he's never been in one. Wild creatures tend to take a liking to him due to his scent, a combination of rich earth and sunlight, gained from whiling away so many hours dozing amongst the warm grass on the Hill.
Athlete - You can run faster and longer than most of the other kids. And you should after kicking everyone's arses at footraces for so long! [5% chance to attack the same target again]
Gear
Climbing Gloves - Hard, leather, fingerless gloves with pads on the knuckles and the palms, great for scaling trees and hitting stuff without bruising your knuckles [climb things; 1 DMG].
Leather Sling - A thong made of leather, used to fling stones. You've practiced with it often, though you've never actually killed anything with it [1-5 DMG]
Lugged War Spear - [6 DMG]

Acrobat - You can move with more grace and talent than anyone else in the sky! You've even learned to turn flips after practicing for so long! [sacrifice a combat turn to dodge the next two hits; perform minor stunts in fluff]
Good Sense - You seem to notice things that others don't, namely fine details. You always seem to know which way to go, and what to do. You're a natural leader, and the others tend to look up to you because of it [allies gain +1 to hit rolls when following your directions].
Gear
Perfect Longbow - [3-10 DMG]
Russet Wings - A pair of small leather wings that you wear on your back. They usually make you play the dragon, and you hate it. You think you're more of a wyvern, personally.
Slingshot - A tiny slingshot that Derry made for you [1-3 DMG]

Substitute - You've always known how to do this, though you never knew why. You rarely use it in front of people, and you're rather afraid of this curious power of yours. [create a phantom image of yourself, enemies targeting you will attack it instead for the next two turns until you attack or combat ends; costs 3 MP]
Illusion - [cause an enemy to think he's in mortal danger. enemy will be distracted for one turn until he realises that he's not actually going to die; costs 1 MP]
Gear
Mysterious Artefact - A round, thin metal disc about six inches across with intricate carvings inlaid on either side. You usually keep it tucked away inside your shirt where no one can see it. Sometimes, when you look at it while you're alone, it glows with a strange blue light. You showed it to the others, and Alex claimed to recognise the symbols from something he saw in the Oldway. Everyone came to the unanimous decision that you should all head there in search of it.
