KILL THE GIANT BEAR WITH THE SPEAR.

You seize your spear and attack the massive hell bear. Your weapon passes straight through it when you lunge at it. What manner of sorcery is this?!

Her eyes followed to Kyle, who seemed to be smirking a bit.

"Huh, it was a ghost bear? Kyle, you sneaky dog!"

Load the crossbow in preparation for my next experiment.

You load the crossbow, and you notice a flicker of yellow sparks emit from the weapon as you do so. You ignore this, and fire a bolt at the bear anyways. It passes straight through him and explodes in a glittering golden fireball against the tree behind him. Luckily the magical flames flicker and die in a few seconds, leaving only a scorch mark behind, so you haven't started a forest fire. You check the setting. F for Fire? Geez. Thats original. You head over and feel the place where the bolt struck the tree. It doesn't feel hot at all.

Bethany looked closer at her own weapon, wondering if it had any special properties...

The bow seems to be completely ordinary. You look inside the quiver and find that its still completely full. Wait. You have an arrow in your hand, which means there should be one missing. You remove three arrows, then close the quiver and open it again. HOLY SHIT IT REFILLS ITSELF OHMIGOD. Alex sees this, and finds that his does the same. You guys totally freak out together.

Retrieve the bolt, then change the setting and re-reload it. Examine bolt and bow and such.

Well, I was just on F, so the next one would be A.
For the record, I intend to do that with all the settings, one at a time.
