"So far so good, I would say. Now we go and perform research."

Wrap up the parts in something that's lying around, like a bloodstained rug. Carry the parts back to the hospital, possibly enlisting William's aid.

"Remind me, why are we cutting the shade apart? I don't think any of these...organs?...are going to be vital ones."

"Remind me, why are we cutting the shade apart? I don't think any of these...organs?...are going to be vital ones."

"Two reasons, really. One, a bunch of parts is easier to stuff in a bag than a whole person. Two, if these shades have a mechanism that makes them come back to life - which, if Float spoke truly and I suspect she did, wouldn't be that difficult as their vital processes are naturally nonexistent or different to the point of only superficially resembling a human being's, I am much better off dealing with a bunch of stray body parts than a human-sized adversary."

William follows Yolantha.
Do tell me, Float, have the shades used this sort of armor before? Have they ever collaborated with large amounts of people? Also, would any records or survivors of Entropy's last appearance still remain?
(I missed this) "No, normally it whatever they can get their hands on so a uniformed shade army is troubling. The depend on your view of large, bandits at the end of their ropes is a common slight in shade armies. As for records, us for one, I sure that some folklore will be about Entropy. Not sure beyond that."

((Meanwhile, in the city))

Kyle, found your sweets yet? or do you want to eat the entire shop? I think we should get back. The other may need our help with something.

Kyle quickly grabs about ten rock candy sticks and pays for them before walking over to the door and opening it for Aria.
"Let's go."

Aria quickly walks through the door and starts back to the palace. She wonders what the rest of the group is up to.

She doesn't forget to check Kyle is following her.

Aria, with Kyle in tow, makes her way back to the palace. Using her keen nose, she tracks down the rest of the group.

Suddenly, a nasty pungent smell assaulted her sensitive senses.

Ugh...What is that disgusting stench? She looks over to where Yolantha is examining a pile of off-looking body parts. And why are you examining body parts? Shouldn't we be trying to find out where Ceryx and the rest of the Shades went instead of poking around in the remains of a dead guy??

"Then please tell me what you, in your experienced opinion, suspect is responsible for the fact that these shades are wearing Arcadian armor. Because I only see two possibilities: false flag and likely ambush by Entropy or betrayal of humanity by Arcadia."

"I hardly see how I can help with that. I'm not really the one with any supernatural senses. Also, I'm not examining body parts. I am retrieving them for later study and experimentation. I am rather interested in the nature of this odd form of flesh."

"Also, I am starting to question the rather unfortunate move of not following the retreating man wherever he might have run off to. It is possible he is in the vicinity - after all, if he can manage to convey himself a great distance in a snap, why not do so from the throne room? Anyhow, it might be a good idea to follow the trail of blood he's probably left - he was missing an arm, after all."

"It was a five floor drop and most of you had been in your other forms for a while. What if Aria had jumped out the window before her transformation failed?"

"That would be difficult to clean up, yes. At any rate, seriously. Somebody should check on the blood trail."

"Also, Float, it's time you explained who this Ceryx bloke is. Sounds like a right unpleasant sort, and I am pretty sure he doesn't fit a conventional definition of humanity judging from sheer longevity alone."

"He was a noble of Genera, a now long dead nation that was in, now..." you feel something poking around your mind "...Malinger? Odd name. Well, he was just a noble so we didn't pay attention to the guy until he attack us in the Broken forest-" some more rustling "-Now it the Fae forest? A lot changes in a 1000 years, but you still use horses are transport. Anyway, at that time, he was still human, attacked us for being us and we bested him. We didn't killed him because we were better than him. Don't say we should of, his path was still up in the air at that point. At some point, Genera fell to the demon and the next time we found him, he wasn't in the best of shape, mentally. Blamed us, us being ours whole races, angels and humans included, for the fall. We tried our best, but at some point, he thought the only choice was to start anew and join Entropy. At that point, he was more then human and hounded us at every point until Amy took him out with her and we took out Entropy."
