"That's what I suspect as well... however, this is rather worrying, if their cannon-fodder uses such pieces of equipment for misdirection, I would hate so see what their more competent units use... Speaking of equipment, would you happen to have any ideas as to what caused the explosions?"
"Probable magical feedback, teleporting people large distances has side effects so the only real use is shock tactics. Thinking about it, they goal would most likely be killing the king, yes the pieces fit. Teleporting to spread panic, in the mess, kill the king, the army made of easy to kill shades with lots of proof pointing to Arcadia. They wanted us to be too busy fighting ourselves."

"A likely possibility. Too likely however, in my opinion. While it seems like it is a plausible tactic, surely Entropy would know that it is easy to come to such conclusions and equally easy to doubt Arcadia's involvement. Plus there are still loose ends, how did they obtain the armor without alerting anyone? Surely news that such exquisite armor disappearing would spread very quickly."

"A good point, we lack enough clues, but best to have a wrong idea of the truth so you can find that it is wrong then to flounder aimless because anything may be true and disproving none."

So those thugs want to speak with her and the others, hm? Guess they want to either reward or unnecessarily impede them, or perhaps a half-assed combination of both.

"I will see them momentarily, messenger."

Lock up the assorted shade parts in an empty cell in the lunatic wing - Mr. Krusting's should be vacant after his accident. Then go and see the royal schmucks. Respectfully, naturally.

Aria receives the messenger, saying she will be along shortly.

Walking back to her room, she checks her large carry-all pack. She's sure she packed everything.

Her 3 pairs of reinforced, knee high leather boots, her 3 pairs of padded, thick leather work pants and padded, thick leather long-armed tops, 3 dresses, assorted underwear, a dozen pairs of socks and her tool kit. She puts on her 4th set of said clothes (the above boots, pants and tops) as well as her famous tool belt (with its assorted tools) and her cloak.

Shouldering the large backpack, she says her goodbyes to her family. They look curiously at her pack, but they dont ask questions.

After exiting the house, she takes one last look at it and strides off, head held high, towards the royal palace. She has an inkling of what this will mean for her, and most likely the demon, angel, ghoul and vampire too. Exile. Saving the queen and king most likely saved them from execution.

What sort of strategy did Entropy fight with last time? Did it do anything unconventional?"

"A many fronts one. It's troops don't cost it much and it hard to find, let alone fight the beast so it can throw troops anywhere and everywhere with no real plan. A forever living being with a never ending army doesn't develop beyond the 'till they get give up' strategy. That said this attack seem like a different plan of attack. May be because now someone had sealed it, it doesn't feel safe to sit back now."

"Where does it normally get its equipment? I doubt it buys it from licensed manufacturers."

"Where ever it can steal it from, bandits in the wrong place, armies it fought, tombs, etc."

Follow what everyone else is doing. Drag back the battleaxe to the armory. Try and find someone to heal me or something.

((I'll assume Empiricist goes to the throne room as well, but it won't be to hard to recon))
The six of you walk before the king, who look a little glum.

"Welcome heroes. I will first say thank you for your efforts yesterday." He sighs "But it is with a heavy heart that I must say that the council has ruled that you are exiled, they should of died, not the ones that did." he says the last part under his breath.

((You may react, but he has more to say so don't storm out of the room))

Follow what everyone else is doing. Drag back the battleaxe to the armory. Try and find someone to heal me or something.
((Zombie form's rotting disappears on transforming back just to be clear.))
