(HS) Richard takes a nap on Anna's couch while waiting for the Dark Hour.

Somehow, Harbinger, although he is ascended into crow Valhalla, somehow speaks to Cyrielle.

Anna scowled.

(HS) Anna prepares. Soon, very soon.

Richard watches the clock.
"Nearly time. Anna, you ready for this?"

It nears midnight. Everyone is in their homes. The clock is seconds from midnight.

The air is heavy. It seems full of anticipation.

Something is about to happen.

(HS): Cyrielle sits idly in her house.

"Ready as I'll ever be. Although I just had the strangest thought. How does this thing handle time zones?"

Anna is prepared to go all Nuke-tan~ on any and all shadows, hooded figures, aliens, and any other crossovers attempting to sneak in with the actual Shadows.
Stella sits outside, staring at the stars.
(Normal) Twi pokes ElfCollab to actually read what he's responding to and, y'know, respond to it.

The clock strikes twelve.
All electronics shut off. Anyone not aware of the Dark Hour is immediately turned into a coffin. Anyone who is aware , or anyone who has the potential, stays awake.

All water is turned to blood. The sky is green, and the moon seems more menacing than usual.
Richard stands up.
"Let's roll."
He smiles.
Maria wakes up.
"Huh...wha-?
Holy....where'd the lamp go? Why is my glass full of BLOOD?!"
(Normal) "One family member who probably hates me.

Isn't that just my damn luck?"

[Empiricist]

(HS): "*sigh* why didn't the doctor didn't warn me about my medication's side-effects."

(HS)Selina jumps as her lamp turns off, as well as all of the lights in her room.

"What... did... did the power go out...?"

Conny was about to drink some milk when she saw it all turn red, she rubbed her eyes in disbelief.

"I'm seeing things, I need more sleep."

(HS): Richard opens the door.
"Cover me. I'll check around for Shadows."
He wanders down the corridor, Durandal at the ready.
Maria cautiously makes her way around, shocked by the fact that her glass of water had turned to blood.
"What the hell....what the hell is this?!"

((Unless something drastic happens, most characters will just blame the odd occurrences on something mundane and go back to sleep ))

[Twi]

Stella rubs her eyes, thinking she's dreaming. Then she hits herself on the head. IT doesn't work.

"...?"
Anna rises in time with Richard, for extra drama.

"Let's see....I think Bismuth is handling the basement."

She follows Richard, ready to glass any Shadows that appear.
This is true. Bismuth is there, with her blade and her courage and a narrow hallway to defend. She's forced the Shadows to emerge from a single area, and there's only one way to the rest of the world: through her. At least that's the idea.
(Normal) Anna hugs Richard more!
