The clock strikes twelve.
All electronics shut off. Anyone not aware of the Dark Hour is immediately turned into a coffin. Anyone who is aware , or anyone who has the potential, stays awake.

All water is turned to blood. The sky is green, and the moon seems more menacing than usual.

Angel and Nuriel are awoken.
"This is...unusual..."
"What the hell?"
They get out of their beds and look around.
"Eek!"
"It's just me, moron."
"I...I thought you were some kind of--" Angel fills in a one-word description of something she sees behind Nuriel, and I have no idea what that would be.
"Stupid assumption, kid."
"BEHIND YOU!"
Nuriel turns around. "Ah."

Selina awoke to find herself surrounded by 5 of the shadows, the eyeless masks staring at her as they slowly approached. She screamed.

Conny heard the scream and jumped, looking around. The shadow she was following turned and saw her before charging after her.

"Crap crap crap crap crap!" Conny ran for it.

A floating, twisted crown, with a mask under it, is behind Nuriel and Angel.

"Oh great, well I'll probably damage my room either way, so..."
Cyrielle rolls away and tries to rip the mask off of it from behind.

The Maya screeches and tries to absorb her hand into it.

And Demons Run was occupied. Double shit.

She sprints into the yard from her walk, launching herself right at the wall of Maya... [14] and slices through three of them before she even hits the ground, standing over Selina despite the fact that she's currently in a nightshirt and pretty much nothing else.

"Don't move."

"Screw it. I'm leaving."
Cyrielle walks out of her room pours herself a glass of water.

Angel freezes in terror and confusion. Nuriel studies the thing, then punches it in the mask. This is surprisingly effective. Even the...thing looks surprised.

((Maya, basically the weakest of the weak as far as Shadows go. Big blob of tar with a mask on. Color wasn't described, so I assume it's the hilariously weak one, in which case Nuriel should rape it horribly since it's weak to Fire.))

"How... how did you... just..." Selina is speechless.

Conny is still booking it, the shadow chasing her around the streets.

Noticing that the glass of water is filled with blood, Cyrielle decides that her house is probably wrecked already by her medication-induced hallucination and so she throws it at the closest thing the blob has to a face.
