I've been wondering, is it actually possibly to change your armor after Papyrus asks you what you're wearing? I guess this would involve not equipping the Faded Ribbon until then.

He ends up lying about what you're wearing, AFAIK, and gets it spot-on anyway. Similarly, if you lie about what you're wearing at the time, he figures that he should lie to Undyne since she's trying to kill you and all... so he tells her that you ARE wearing whatever you're actually wearing, because he trusts that you would tell the truth to him.

Despite knowing most of the plot by now, one thing still bothers me:

When you look at the coffin that is supposed to belong to the first child (IE the fallen child, the one you name at the start of the game and the true villain of the game) you find that its empty, and there's some dusty old bandages left. What the hell happened to the corpse of the first child?

From what we currently know, that child dies by poisoning itself in a ploy to get Asriel to absorb his soul so he can take control over asriel, take more human souls, become a god and destroy humanity (which fails because asriel refuses to kill the humans at the village, even though they're going to kill him). Asriel would then die but keep existing by using DETERMINATION, eventualy becoming flowey, while the fallen child's soul would linger in the underground waiting for a chance to get revenge on both monsters and humans.

But where the hell has the fallen child's body gone?

Toriel took the body and buried it. The patch of yellow flowers at the beginning of the ruins is the grave site.

You just have to memorize the attacks, mostly. The gaster blasters are probably the most intense thing, yeah, I keep dying to a certain set of 'em later, consistently.

The fight is designed to frustrate you. It's made to make you feel like you should quit and reset.

But Sans needs to calm down, like what's wrong with save points and resetting time? Silly time travelling skeleton.

AND THE TEXT EVERY TIME YOU START OVER IS INFURIATING. "Oh wait, you don't have any friends..."

I love the game over screen, though. "Stay determined!" is like the best message that they could put there for the bad times.

EDIT: Get dunked on...
