Can't you just bribe them into converting? Also, I might not be able to play my turn quite yet, so if you finish quickly you might want to kick me down a notch (though I really don't want to postpone my plans for Great Holy Warring the evil infidels to submission.
You can bribe them, but if their relations with you are poor it won't get you high enough to convert. Most of them hated my guts though so I found the headsman's axe a more effective tool for restoring the faith.
I just finished my turn this morning - I'll shuffle you to the next spot.
I don't really have time to do a write up right now, so I'll just give a quick rundown of what happened. I should be able to write up my turn properly today or tomorrow.
- Restored the faith, made sure all the holy sites were in the hands of the faithful
- Fought many civil wars because my vassals found me to be a bit too tyrannical for their liking.
- Annexed the Kingdom of Rus
- Created the Empire of Carpathia to keep things interesting since we are a giant blob of doom.
- Two of my heirs were murdered. Overcompensated and ended up having way too many sons.
- Started a war to put my half-sister on the throne of the Byzantine Empire
- Murdered at the hands of my own son
- Empire split into Wend and Carpathia, but Carpathia ended up being rather weak and would easily be reunified with the empire if the next person in line so desires.
