On return, Oric deals with getting the fighters to help out the Guard in repairing the damaged buildings from the fires.

Matthias hires out investigators to find out about the fires and the attack to see who the culprit was. Any information is also passed onto Kylie. If the guard spots and asks for information from the investigators, they give what they've found, preferably painting Kylie in a good light. If not asked, they don't give the information.

Construction begins on a training area on a building literally JUST south of the burned buildings. Intention is an area for the fighters to improve their fighting skills and professionalism.


Matthias sends a letter to the paladins stating an apology for the mix ups and for both to remain vigilant against these abominable attacks. A letter is sent to Kylie from him aswell, stating that she should practice subtlety and politeness in front of the king, or she risks danger.

Kyle sends back a letter.
It reads,
'Thank you for the concern but really I do need to get on with this investigation. So either the next letter is info or it's a letter accepting that date.

My ally thanks the king for his time, then goes to conquer some buildings on the west side of the east market. After he's safely out of the castle, he mutters an insult about the king.

As the gathered guild members head back into the city from the flagship of the guards battleship fleet floats slowly across the city with the same message booming out from it every 30 seconds.

" The guard is offering a substantial bounty for the capture of any and all guild leader, in addition any information resulting in the capture or killing of said leaders will result in a reward and any information on guild plans will result in a reward.

The newly designated white zone is a free zone outside of guild influence for the citizens of the city to live in peace, any guilds disrupting the white zone shall forfeit 25% of the gathered wealth of the guild in compensation to those families disrupted by guild activities.

The captain of the guard is also willing to discuss terms for mutual treaties or monetary donations to the white zone.




As the man leaves the castle a guard slips out of the shadows nearby and walks past him slowly whispering quietly.
"It's not polite to insult your king, you should watch your words more carefully if you want to keep speaking.

(( The donation is not to me, it's to pay for the white zone, otherwise the king will pay for all of it so making donations is a way to earn his favour and earn pardons, I don't keep any of the money, it's against the rules of my job.

The rest, yup. If you kill a guild leader then not only do you remove a rival, I'll pay you for it. ))

My ally will recruit the unclaimed buildings up and to the right of my territory.
I, meanwhile, shall convert a building (one just to the left and down of my market houses preferably) to a Tavern.

((Mmmhmm, that looks to me like the king being an A**-*** right there, taking money from people for doing their job, and giving it to the guards for them to get other people to kill each other. Heheh, and I thought I was the best at that kind of thing))
