He's an expedition leader... and a broker... and a bookkeeper...

Danger rooms are alright, I guess, since I'd like the fort to not die to the first siege ever, in response to your earlier question.  Looking forward to more updates.

They are also approved of by myself, the future overseer. I have tried it at the far-off fortress Unalngithol, and have survived a siege of 30 goblin Aim-for-your-throats and lashers (They were selling sieges, buy one, get two free, so we bought all three of them.). The casualty level was three unsuspecting peasants who were next to the siege entrance, and one newly recruited wrestler, who died, bleeding out from multiple shots to the groin (I can't imagine his pain, and yet he took two lashers down with him before dying!). Tarem Putridportal, you will be missed, and granted the finest artifact coffin we have.

Oh, another thing. Our main entrance is like 6 tiles away from the map edge. Were going to get a seige RIGHT THERE. I can feel it in my bones. I think I'll move the depot and main entrance

Why would we have it there???

Because you must live with my poor decisions.  Insert evil laughter here.

Perhaps we could convert that into a nice deathwalk for the sieges, have weapon traps filling the corridor, close up Dewboy's new entrance and pasture a tasty little kitty treat to lure them in. My recipe for goblin stew :D

Everything is proceeding nicely. The Spartan I program will begin soon and our metalworking is in full swing

The elves have arrived
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I bought wood and food from them

There seems to be an excess of thieves around  :-\

Well crap.
The goblins have arrived just before I seal off that entrance and open the new one.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

(See? Told ya thats where we would get a seige.)

I've ordered the bridges to be raised A.S.A.P.

Never mind, the bridges don't even retract right.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

So the newly drafted Spartans are going to Y.O.L.O. this. And probably die horribly with the rest of the fortress
One of our captains fights like crazy despite their lack of training. however, they went down
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

After this the fortress basicly fell apart. If someone wants to revert the save to the last turn i would begin by building traps. LOTS OF TRAPS. As for me I'll watch this thread advance past what would've been my failure.

Kudos,
Dewboy

===================================================================================================
D.E.B.T.
official report

Outpost Location: Boltrinse
Overseer at Time of Incident: Dewboy

SitRep: goblin seige arrived in early summer. Outpost unprepared (see ArticleA) Inhabitants concluded to be killed. All wealth lost.
Anomaly detected; all records from Dewboy's rule missing. Receiving request for new overseer in outpost's 3 spring. All time seems to be reversed to Boltrinse New Timeline.

Conclusion: SyrupLeaf-like event. Carry on with Boltrinse. Rectify contents of Article A.

Article A: Outpost needs entrance relocation, Immediate construction of Training facilties requested by D.E.B.T. Traps at new entrance, COMPLETE RECONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGES ON NORTH SIDE.

All reports of this have been erased. Armok must be restless. Do not acknowledged this happened. I wish the mountain homes much !Fun! I'm retiring here to watch the Spartan I program sir.

Hmm...  Let's revert to the beginning of the year.  dewboy, It's up to you whether or not you do the year over or pass it down the line.  We can have more fun than this, I'm sure.

Does this mean that I'm taking the Savescum? or should we try a reclaim?
