Chances of that are practically nihil.

With a blip, the cryotube takes down those characteristics and finally puts you into the blissful embrace of cryosleep.

And then, you are awake again. Simple enough. The pod notes down the date. 2460. You have been asleep for a century. It hits hard, that. You have outlived what an average human would by a lot. You're one hundred years in the future. You stumble groggily out of the tube onto the bridge. You're trying to remember your name.

Angie. Angie McUrist. It all floods back. Went to London engineering academy. Got into fights after a few midget remarks in bars. Won. Built Venice MK 2s Putin Monument, and various other monuments. You remember. And you remember the process. Survey sites Planetside, awaken crew, launch prefabs at planet. And this planet was chosen for it's flora and suspected natural resources. You consult the ship's computer.

>COLONY SITE SURVEY COMPLETE: CHOOSE LANDING SITE
1. FOOTHILLS. LIGHT FOREST. POSSIBLE METAL DEPOSITS. CONFIRMED SILICON.
2. SEA SHORE.  VERY LIGHT SCRUB. ALIEN FISH DETECTED. POSSIBLE FISSILE MATERIALS. CONFIRMED IRON.
3. ROLLING PLAINS. MOUNTAINS NEARBY. GOOD CONSTRUCTION LOCATION. HARDWOOD, SOFTWOOD, AND COPPER CONFIRMED.
You consider the options carefully. Where do you drop your prefabricated concrete city?

2 - Seashore

While we should not hope for any kind of trade -( no, we really, really shouldn't hope for that occuring any time soon *)- there should be plenty of food for us, and a confirmed source of iron is pretty neat. If there really should be some uranium around too, we would be on a quick road to solve our most important needs - Food and Energy, with Iron being a good boost to building stuff. I would also suspect that our high-spec system would not have selected a site without freshwater, so there ought to be a stream for inland transport.

*(( "Ia! Ia! Cthulhu fhtagn" - because sci-fi-setting and location demands it. :P))

I really hesitate, but I think that 2 and 3 are equally good.
I vote rolling plains, for building purposes. We could have mining outposts in the mountains, copper is good for electronics, and we have wood and lots of build and farm space.

When we expand to more settlements, sea going cargoships will count for a lot.

Silly people. Why do they always forget to pack a space-elevator in their massive ships. It's not like it's that heavy, you just need a climber pod and the cable. (You can use the colony ship as counterweight, because these ships can't land.)

we can complain later. We can still build one when we need it, right now we only need to go down, and up will come later.

We're all controlling a single character, not in a party-based game, so sure, knock yourself out. You are now part of the brain of a loli engineer administrator.

You sit and consider the information. You decide that the Seashore is the best location, as the fissile materials and other resources and location would all serve to a good colony. You walk up to the Ship's computer, and activate the reawakening procedure. A red light flicks and a klaxon sounds as the personnel essential to colonisation are awoken. Video feeds of soldiers and engineers stumbling out of cryotubes bring a smile to your face. You're finally here.
At your new home.
After a lengthy, hours long procedure, the buildings are all ground side and you have taken a shuttle down to the colony site, a few engineers and soldiers greeting you.
" Hello Ma'am,and welcome to Haven! The buildings are just being set, it'll take about a week. But for now, you can assign orders to our production facilities. Oh, and the device."
You remember. The Device. A hugely powerful Internet connection that travels faster than light. A byproduct of one attempt to get FTL, found unsuitable for humans. But good enough to get some comms up with home. And to get any info, schematics, and research. Another Engineer walks up.
" Our ahem, " Industrial sector" is ready Ma'am." She giggles lightly before being silenced by a glare from you. The joke was about how the standard equipment for manufacturing in the colonies was a HyperPlastic 3D printer. Metal variants were available, and you fought with al, your ancestral might to get it but to no avail. It became in-joke with the engineers, mocking you about the 3D printer. Oh well. You snap back to reality as a soldier, dressed in simple black garb, begins talking to you.
" We are ready to take your orders. One 1000 man brigade of colonial infantry. And ma'am?"
" Yes? " You finally speak out.
" What are we going to name the city?"
You dismiss him, and think. What are you going to name the city?
And what are your orders with the rest of the city?

(Whoa, solar power got efficient in the future. Still I'd like to go for fission, as IC is our most limited resource. Also, fission is less likely to hiccup. We haven't got any back up power yet, so we shouldn't use something that can be destroyed by a simple hailstorm)

Construct 1 Basic Fission Reactor (Can we let it operate at 10%?, seems like a waste of Uranium otherwise)
Construct 2 Cavalier Recon vehicles (Mining extension)
Have our engineers design Mining vehicles/installations, or if we have those, a basic multifunctional chemical plant*

Quantum uplink array should start downloading Bastards.sch

*High power cost most likely, but will allow us access to more advanced materials, and useful chemicals. Can also turn food in bio plastic, which we will need to do.

Total stuff used:
5 IC, 240 plastic, 140 Iron, 200 copper
