Naw, I just assume that the GM knows how to deal with doubling and so I only worry about damage dealt. 'Sides, I wasn't sure the exact rules for doubling anyways.

Edit: Also, post.

BMM42 there's a terrible oversight in IC thread.

Namely, recap spoiler is empty :P

Yeah, I might deal with that on my next day off.

Maybe.

I spent this one hauling a tv, getting my mom a new power cord, and struggling not to cuss out my management.

EDIT: My dice hate you people.

Helpfuledit: Tyrn and Ceil are the only ones we're waiting on.

Oh, a thing wrt Ceil. Brann can probably go without a heal this turn due to having Stillness as his skill. I'm hoping that'll mean that the guard will prioritize the people who were attempting to kill him this round over Brann. So... yeah. I'll pass on a heal this turn is I guess what I'm saying?

Fun fact- Under normal circumstances, last turn, all three guards would have attacked Ceil.

Stillness man.

Stillness is p.great. I'm hoping to combine it with my future skills for wonderful results. Speaking of which, I'm probably going to promote to Shadow Sword after fencer.

Honestly, for me personally, I don't care for any of the classes that combine physical and magical proficiencies. It's hard to get the numbers to make the capability worthwhile.

The only way I could think of balancing it out would be maybe to reduce progression rates from 330 to 300, and adding a free 20% to both. Or rather giving both a minimum 20 and adding 10 base progression.

Good thing I'm not trying to expand/rebalance this system. I'd drive myself nuts.

Or give up after a few months. One or the other. Adding a couple skills from Awakening might be fun though. Ignis would be a good skill for those with physical and magic proficiencies, and Galeforce could be kept from being game breaking by being a cost skill.

Dependent, you become a jack of all trades sort of character. You deal blades to mages, spells to warriors, you won't do as much damage as someone focused on one or the other (at least not without sacrificing something).

I personally think the best way to pull of such is either Battle Mage, or Mage Knight would probably be the best combos, Shadow Swords seem like they'd be best as anti-mages, and Crusaders by sticking with effective magic. Battle Mage is dependent on when what stat is used however, and Mage Knight is just kinda funny because you get the best of melee and magic all synched to one stat, Magic.

A fun trick to do with classes that eventually gain magical ability is to get those skills that give regeneration based upon a theoretically useless stat. You get the ability to trade it in for free later, possibly for an 'early game useless; late game useful' skill.

Well I'm not planning on doing a ton of magic, tbh. That's why the low growth there.

My bet is on killer weapon or class-locked weapon.
