"Not really. Had a nightmare."
Alistair shuddered.

"I... I meant.... a-alone... j-j-just... us..." Selina is trying to stay calm... and failing.
"Oh... do you want to talk about it?"

"No."
Alistair lost his cheeriness and ate his cereal in silence.

"Um...hm....eh..."
It seemed that for once, Maria was lost for words.

"I... I... I knew this... was a bad idea..." Selina starts to walk out slowly, almost in tears.
"Oh... Whatever it was, I doubt it will happen. Your too friendly!" Conny gives him a cheery hug to try and lighten the mood.

"N-no wait! Selina! I'll go out with you..."
Maria caught Selina's arm. Maria was worried, and somewhat frazzled.

Alistair ignored the hug and kept eating. The nightmare, whatever it was, had shaken him.

"Y-you will!? R-really?" Selina turns back to her, a few tears of joy falling down her cheek.
Conny feels bad for Alistair before getting an idea. She holds her hands together in front of his face, and then quickly pulls them apart, mini fireworks sparkling between them.

"Really."
Maria pulled Selina into a warm hug.
Alistair is still eating cereal and ignores the fireworks.

"Thank you." Selina hugs her back tightly.

Then Conny calls from the kitchen.

"Uh, Maria!? Alistair had a bad dream... and its made him a bit depressed..."

"Oh?"

Maria ran downstairs and went to Alistair's side.
"Ali, what's wrong?"
"I don't want to talk about it."
"Ali, it isn't going to go away unless you talk about it."
"It was about being you dying, okay?!"
Alistair was in tears. Maria sat there, shocked.

Matt looked pretty pleased with himself as he finished his breakfast.

''Alright, all done! Time to go to Maria's then, right?'' Matt said to Kyle.

[RangerCado]

"Oh, Alistair buddy. It was only a dream. Your sister will always be around for you. She won't die, shes magic remember?" Conny grabs Selina and Maria, pulling them into a group hug with Alistair.

"You'll always be with us, and us you. Even death couldn't change that."

"Yep!"
Kyle then picks Matt up and walks over to Maria's because it's not that far.

"Ali. Trust me. I won't die. I'm magic. I've got Selina. Matt. Kyle. Everyone will protect me."
Maria hugged her crying brother tightly.
"R-really?"
"Really."
"No crosses?"
"No crosses."
"Pinky swear?"
"Pinky swear. I promise."
Alistair hugged his sister hard. He didn't want her to leave him. He knew her job was dangerous, but even so...

''H-hey, uhm... Kyle. We're friends right?'' Matt asks awkwardly. ''And uhh... I just g-gotta ask. What's this about Maria, and uhh... Selina and... girlfriends... and I think I heard you say k-kissing at some s-stage. I-is there an in-joke I've missed?'' Matt fidgeted. In reality, he was terrified of the answer, dredging up his worst nightmares. It wouldn't be the first time this...

"Um... Yeah, I guess we are friends. Let's see. Last time I checked both Maria and Selina both are attracted to each other. They haven't made anything official yet though so you may have a chance. Look man, I'm sure you'll find a girl for yourself soon. There was that chick at the last battle I think she's single."
