The way you described it,  6 or 7, maybe up to 8 at the top. Of course, by that point, it would be stacking with your other levels.

That sounds rather like Elder Magic. Given that right after you guys (Thales excepted) thank Eyilana for sweet loot and rotate the fountain, you'll find an Elder Magic artifact...

I'd also like to point out that a character can be fully unaware of their level and fully believe that they have ranks in something else.

Eh, Slayer sounds like a C-rank or so prestige class.

Seer and Priest can effectively work out to the same thing, right? Like, if one becomes Seer 10, you're a Defender, right? Or no?

And what do you mean by stacking with other levels?
