As a note, Daethwin has zero problem with Thales killing this dude. Daethwin's a bit pissy about elves since the whole 'ow my face burning ow' incident, and then there's the part where he admitted he planned to kill us. In fact, Daethwin's likely to try and help.

Also. We're in a tent. Your plan has a flaw in it. Plus, I'd rather figure out why he wants to kill us, for the sake of knowledge, if nothing else.

Still trying to catch up. So far this guy is a dick and drew a sword against them along with shouting for their deaths. The only reason Jewel may even interrupt is to preserve peace talks.

Jewel is for Honor, Comradery, and Loyalty. This guy threatened those he feels loyal to and drew his blade in a threatening manner. You can do the math for his view on this guy.

The issue with the tent, by the way, is the whole 'getting draped and entangled in it', not the being able to fly through it. I have no doubts Thales can fly with absurdly heavy or constricting loads. I do think him wearing a tent as a toga and lifting it away from the ground would look ridiculous and possibly impede his targeting ability.

I was planning to just rip through the fabric, with my sword if necessary. The tent is presumably securely attached to the ground, after all.
