Is it possible to basically transfer Myrln into a clone/magically grown copy of himself?

You can stick his soul in a jar and start working on that.

Of course, I'm sure he'd resist that.

Especially since amnesia. If you try that without explaining context to him he's going to try to kill you.

Interesting, and makes sense. I love it when settings have good explanations for things.

Although I'm curious as to how such magic would affect those not of flesh, would it just slap a [insert flesh substitute] covering, or try to ineffectually apply fleshy scar tissue over the wound? Or does it simply do what the body would do if it were forced to heal at an incredibly accelerated rate?

Hm. What about building a necromantic body as a stopgap measure? You think he'd go for that?

Again, explain context to him. He's going to have no idea the fuck is going on when he wakes up.

Can... Can I tell him that he's my father and Tarana is his wife? Is the amnesia that great? Surely Pantxike will allow that to come to pass for it would surely be hilarious.

You could, but the counter prank would be so great that it would likely cause three neighboring countries to void their bowels simultaneously from the side effects.

Well that settles it. We'll tell Myrln that his name is Baron Von Dunderhead, that Tarana is his wife and Morgred is his illegitimate love child produced by a sordid affair with Darshendros. THERE IS NO WAY THIS CAN GO WRONG.

Ross, what are the names of the kings of three nearby countries? This is important.

Yep. I may or may not drive Chelan into a homocidal rage.

Oh this is going to be good. Hm. What do you think about systematically pranking every god, angel, demon or spirit in existence?
