If I knew how to make cinematics and actually made them, I guess it would make this a top-tier RP right from the get go.
Sadly, that is not the case.

And you may actually find former demon summoners, BUT because they've lost their knowledge (and lacked a way to regain it) they won't do much good.

Characteristics:Those who get to know him would describe him as a jolly fellow around friends. However, he tends to act fairly reserved in public. He doesn’t do well under pressure, but knows when to stand his ground. Has an intense hatred of Rock and Dragon  types, but isn’t very confrontational so its hardly ever an issue.

Ivan was an relatively unremarkable Charmeleon. He was an only child and never knew his father. He assumes it was a Snorlax, since he was born knowing the ancestral melody known as the “Belly Drum”, a tune created by the normally physically feeble Snorlax. His mother instilled a love a learning in  him when he was young and a traveling Uxie Worshipper. Reading was a skill few pokemon actually knew. He soon became a valuable asset to the village. Traveling merchants could no longer  put the townsfolk in debt via unfair contracts and the ability to interpret trade agreements and tribute demands saved his village much grief.
    Ivan and his mother lived in a small town near the base of a mountain, rumored to be the birthplace and home of Tekkrakion. What certainly lived in the mountains was much, much worse. Salamence, a ruthless bandit leader, took up residence there 50 years ago, when his mother was just a puny Charmander. Salamence’s raiding parties came and went, their members lived, retired and died, but Salamence lived on. One day Salamence decided to become more than just a leader of petty thieves, and sent a massive army of pokemon to capture Ivan’s village. Ivan and his mother tried to escape, but Salamence’s band set traps specifically for pokemon blessed with the gift of flight. He watched as his mother was pelted with sharp, stones that seemed to appear from nowhere. The rocks clipped her wings and she was cut down by a Kabutops.  Ivan was paralyzed  by fear, and just as the Kabutops that slew his mother was about to attack him. Salamence himself swooped down and commanded him to stop.
“If you lay a claw on that boy, I will be eating you steamed with a side on lum. His skills are worth more than 50 of you”, the lumbering Dragon thundered.
Ivan was soon forcibly employed as Salamence’s diplomat/bookeeper/stock checker/adviser. He managed the Dragons war funds, tribute systems. He lived well, but resented his employer, who was ultimately responsible for his mothers death and enslavement of his village Salamence basked in the glory of conquest, but it was IVAN who picked up the broken pieces of shattered towns and cities. It was Salamence who slept in vast exotic harems and drank the sweetest Apricorn Juice, but it was IVAN who had to make sure the villages could meet tribute by making sure the workers had a place to sleep at night. With each of Salamence’s conquests, his hatred of the beast grew and grew.  Salamence himself considered Ivan a son or sorts, but this feeling was hardly reciprocal. Ivan, has seen his fare share of combat., despite being a book wurmple.

I'm really sorry if history is to grimdark/edgy/riddled with grammar and spelling mistakes/doesn't fit the setting. I'll edit it when I get a better grasp of the world.

Well, demons and sacrifice beat forced labor in my opinion.

Their knowledge, their powers, or minions. (unless the soul in question was an alpha demon)
Basically you "stack" the abilities.

Yeah, omega demons are the baddiest and most powerful around.
To give you an idea, they make most legendaries look pale. (kinda literally when you think about it)

As for IC thread...
It's going alright, but I won't be able to finish it today. (Mother's Day and all that...)

I'm at ~80% if I were to guess, but don't quote me on that.

One last question(I hope.) Will mortals have any chance of fighting off demons? You said earlier that they were transparent; what weapons or abilities would actually effect them?
