Gender: Male
Status: Living
Characteristics: Max is quite tall for a Mawile, although a little thinner. He is also more thoughtful and oblivious than most.
Bio: Coming once I think of something real clever.
Appearance: A smallish Pokemon with a yellow and reddish-brown color combination. It has a round, cute face and small red eyes. Its legs are covered by yellow flaps, with its brown feet visible. Its most noticeable feature though, is its giant reddish jaws on the back of its head.
Moves: Astonish, Bite, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Sweet Scent, Vice Grip (not Vice Grip or Bite if moves are limited to 4)
Ability: Hyper Cutter (Attack can't be reduced)

Name: Elemer
Species: Dragonite

Status: Living

Characteristics: Elemer is toughened from years traveling the globe, and yet retains the childlike curiosity inherent in his species. He's usually relaxed, but when truly dedicated he is implacable and will pursue any goal to completion, tearing through any opponent. So far in life, he has not had an issue defeating any enemy he has faced, but he may find that he shall meet his match with the more unnatural denizens of the world.
History: Elemer was born in the highest mountains, in a world of ice and snow. As he grew, he began to show great fighting ability, especially in terms of his connection to the dim sun overhead. However, when the time was called for his clan to fight an encroaching Aggron, he fled, feeling unprepared to face such a mighty opponent. From that day on, he has traveled the globe, searching for somewhere to call home and someone to teach him how to fight well enough that he need fear no enemy again. However much he has learned throughout his years, he still feels unprepared at heart. Through it all, though, he remains cheerful. In his mind, he has more time than he will ever need to accomplish his goals and more.

Appearance: He is leaner than most of his species, due to his high-intensity flight pattern and battle training. His wings are closer than grey than blue, and his entire body is a much deeper orange than usual.

Abilities:(not quite sure what you mean, so gonna combine non-combat and special stuff.)
Fly(duh)
Sunny Day(can clear clouds and other inclement weather)

Daylight Bond(Special Stuff, fire-type attack power increased by 25% in the day regardless of weather.)

Other Things: He really, REALLY hates cold and ice. Even chilly water bothers him.
His nest might not be too happy with him if he ever shows up again...

So far it looks good.
Later tomorrow I'll set the IC thread up and include some sort of a prologue, which should give you an idea of what's going on and set the stage for the game itself and maybe even give someone an inspiration for the histories of those who can't think of anything so far.


But for now let me just say that the ancient knowledge of demon summoning has been lost and all known...Pokémancers, as they used to call themselves, the very manipulators of life and death, have been hunted down and inevitably sent to the other plane they once opened...

In other words, right now nobody knows how to summon the demons, but don't you worry, this isn't going to last for long...

Also, evolution is handled the "normal" way for the item-based (Leaf Stone etc.), while it's more like "age=level" for the level-based, but it's only a rough estimate, so don't worry if you spontaneously evolve.

Abilities.

Essentially "passive moves".

And yes, there's no limit to the amount of moves you can learn.

Characteristics are things like whether you're modest, strong, wise, treacherous and whatever else.

Appearance is more what makes you unique from the other specimens, rather than the description of the Pokemon itself.
Basically stuff like scars or extraordinary colors.

Given the moves name, 'painfully reminded' can be taken somewhere... normal for this community really.

Chanes of that happening are extremely unlikely, as the game's starting point is set at a few centuries after the last -known- Pokemancers have, to put it lightly, joined their minions.

And damn, I'm stuck with the writing of IC thread, even if I'm at the best part of it right now.
Wish I could just make a cinematic and call it a day, but that's just straight up impossible unless I use the SFM and Pokemon models, which is kinda unlikely at this point given the fact my knowledge of using it is...
