1. about marines, were those the ones who massacred us on the ship?
2.suggest surrender because if not, the Warlords come back and those guys will slaughter you, those guys are freaking invincible, don't you remember that their WEAKER BRETHREN shrugged off the equivalent of a small nuke?
3. if Elianna intends to stop us, persuade, if not, initiate Uriah protocol

1. These guys seems WAY less agile than the ones on the ship. Maybe we can get behind and cause them to break that way.
2. The moorey are out their in force we should try again to contact them and see if we can fire our orbital canoon again to destroy more vangaurd ships.
3. uriah protocol is?

BTW do we even have a way to abandon this base via planned escape routes? i'm not sure if we did that or not.

One problem, there are aircraft. They might be able to pick us off when we are making a retreat.

Didn't think of that..ya we need to sally forth we can't wait for them to get close.

Sally forth and push the Vanguard standard troops out. We'll destroy ALL Tanks and APC's along the way if we have to. While all of that's going on we'll have the infiltrators go through stealthily as possible behind those Super soldiers and see if theirs a weak spot behind. By "see" i mean double grenade trow right behind them so their buts are blown off and failing that those same infiltrators should stab them harshly with their knives before their backs are turned. They should go for their back torso and the back of their necks or heads. Their must be a weak point. Failing that they should get back inside asap or should they succeed they should kill off as many as possible and then carry or drag those corpses back into the base. We may be able to use it personally.

Who's with me for Glory!?!

Uriah protocol is making sure the victim (Elianna in this case) dies in combat.

That is one suicidal mission rushing out, into the enemies kill zone is just asking for heavy causalities. Also, we don't even know where the Super Soldiers are.

Well, it does make some sense if they are still forming a metaphorical beach-head. It would cost us dearly, but there is some chance that we could force a relatively small force inside the fortress to retreat through a limited passage through the outer-walls and inflict massive casualties as they retreat, and to further accost the forces beyond the wall during the confusion, and possibly even force a full-scale rout. But honsetly, it all revolves around being able to overwhelm them, which just doesn't seem likely and the Warbreed could step in at any moment to form a near solid wall at some point in the enemy lines. So... I sort of like it, it is a desperate ploy for a desperate situation, but I cannot in good conscience lend support to that plan.

The Alternative is to take to the inner walls and try to hold their. i'm skeptical but being trapped inside our last fortification is just asking for hell. Those Super soldiers seem to be REALLY slow and although it'd take awhile they will get to the point where they can do damage. Maybe we can have some infiltrators hide out with some RPG's inside some rubble. When the Super soldiers come around they'll stealth behind them and fire said rockets on their backs. Hopefully no one bothers to check around the rubble for Moorey while theirs enormous fire coming from the main force inside the fortifications?

Another long shot but again i'm a fan of using limited options that may very well be taken away from us next turn. Pro activeness vs Retroactive is what were dealing with here and we have no escape route because of that aircraft WHICH may come back.

We should also try to make an effort of keep the vanguard from scaling the outer wall or taking out the AA on the outer walls. That way the aircraft will remember to steer clear from us.

As I say, I like the plan, and do not in any way wish to oppose it, I just do not personally support it. Although, I ma not entirely clear on how it would be achieved, how would we apply more pressure than we already are? Do we charge forward and surround them? Do we just disregard ammunition conservation? Do we turn our aircraft into crude tanks and perform a world-war-one-style combined arms advancement and try to just drive through their lines? It is difficult to see how we could apply much more pressure without running half-way across the base with little to no cover...

Were on the same page then...

let's just stick to defending the walls, using turrets, and sniping off leadership. We now know that our RPG's can't hurt those warbreeds. so i think we should use some if the vanguard clump up behind large fortifications {if there are any} and forcing them to small 1-man cover. Essentially they'll run out of cover and have to charge head into our guns. Fingers crossed that their Super Soldiers are out of gas or something.

Oh and if things are getting REALLY bad like losing more than 15% of our forces on this next turn let's automatically abandon and run for the hills. Hopefully they won't see it and their Aircraft won't attack us. If we do this last thing though we are to destroy all information regarding the Morey in this base regarding planets/resources/maps to everything especially. I bet that's what they're really after in this assault.

Vote A if you like the top, B if you like the bottom suggestion, and AB if you like both. Just thought i'd try making it easier for Khan.

EDIT: Also if you have an idea that beat's mines PLEASE post cause i don't like mines 100% either.

For survival, I would suggest a retreat, and a flying of the white flag you made earlier. Say those Morey bastards put probes in that enforce loyalty. The appearance of the Warbreed provided enough fear that they were overcome. Have Talli talk to them to prove that.

I am not convinced that citing Talli as a character reference is a good idea...

warbreed can communicate telepathically, maybe generals can as well, so Talli can speak to them directly
