Sorry about the delay so far, I've been busy with a side project (something I want to have finished before the end of my senior year next year so I've been working on it) but I have the turn just about finished. I should have it up tomorrow, IRL stuff is currently preventing me from getting the actual file that contains the turn (>:C) but as a solid note this game is not dead.

Lets do some salvaging, also we should make our character be a cross dresser.

How about no?

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Why don't you like salvaging?

You nod as Cain finishes and say something to him about getting the five of the crew ready to go with you on a job here in the near future, the man lets out a grin and runs off to carry your order to the other crew. Walking up to the man the Overseer left behind you rail off a list of what you want to buy, sending Granite off to pick up the cash needed from the ship's cache. When he finally returns you hand the man the small bag of credits, he takes a second to search through the bag to ensure what you gave him is real before nodding his thanks and leaving to board the station. Sighing slightly as he leaves you go over to one of the walls where a seat was built into a small alcove and sit down, lying back you decide to wait as you team is gathered.

After what seems like an hour you and your selected crew, consisting of Granite, Lilian, and three of the crew-members stand out in the main docks of the station. The docks themselves are a massive cavern carved within the asteroid that the station makes its home upon, all throughout the cavern stone and iron walkways and runways are filled with people floating in zero g or ships tethered to various harnesses and cables that keep them in place and stocked. Of course the only ships in the docks are smaller shuttles, fighters, and such but the sight is still extremely impressive with the multitude of box like shuttles for freighter to freighter movement, or compact triangular defensive fighters arrayed across the upper runways.

More importantly arrayed in front of your group is a trio of people from the station, one a tall, lean, soot covered man with short red hair and a full ginger beard that reminds you somewhat of the man from some commercials recruiting miners you saw back in your youth. Next to him are two guys with the builds of brick walls, two hulking masses wearing jet black suits with metal plates sewn all throughout them and two hoses running into the tinted out view shields of their helmets. The most impressive thing about the two men though are the twin long handled axes they carry boasting wicked curved axe-heads and scything blades on opposing sides with sleek freshly maintained looking assault rifles in their hands.

Altogether the trio gives you an unsettling feeling if only because of the look of the seemingly twin giants that appear to be the soot covered man's bodyguards. The soot covered man grins and begins to talk,

"Hello, the names Cyphus and I'm the engineer that is gonna go with you to help get them freighters back up and running, these two fellows behind me are the Grim Brothers Hamond (the one on the left), and Marcus (the one on the right) who will act as bodyguards in case we need em. As for the stuff you ordered, them hull-cutters are being delivered to your ship now while the rest of the stuff you got is loaded onto the shuttle as we'll be needed it for the coming job. Now how 'bout we get this show on the road?"

With that the man turns and walks down the closest runway towards an old looking supply shuttle which you all proceed to board. The inside is alot more spacious then you thought, or it would be if your exo-suit wasn't taking up half the small cargo and passenger bay of the ship. As soon as Lilian spots it (and find out that it is indeed yours) you see her clamber into it and begin fiddling about with the onboard computers, likely tuning it to fit more to her liking. As the rest of you take up the seats along the shuttle, its engines rumbling to life and the loud hisses of docking clamps the only sign you're departing, Cyphus walks up to an old display screen and thumbs the power button.

With a slight buzz the screen flickers on revealing a map of the freighter, and the man begins to talk pointing at the one airlock on the ship,

"This is the only airlock onboard the ship and according to our last views of the ship there is a large chunk of rock embedded right where your entrance would normally be so you'll need to go in by cutting a hole directly into one of the maintenance or abandoned hallways not shown on this map. Its either that or you break your way in through the blast doors as those are the only options that aren't gonna end up making the rest of the ship entirely inhospitable.

Also we've had reports of something like scavengers or pirates in this section of the asteroid field, so we're not entirely sure if anything is actually on the ship or not. We have sometime before we reach the actual freighter so come up with a plan of how you want to do this when we get there, for the most part me and those two are only here to fix the ships engines and get it back to the station so don't count on us for to much."

((all in favor of raiding the armory and med-bay then blaming it on pirates?))

first things first
instruct engineers to repair the anti-boarding drones so that we can use them against any pirates we come across reminding them that they are on our ship and if we go down so do they, if that fails bribe them.

now for the plan
1)enter through the maintenance hallways near the engine room and send the engineers in to repair the engines.
2)climb up a maintenance tube up one deck following the elevator and scout the armory and medbay.
3)cautiously attempt to gain entry to the bridge and assist the engineers from there
4)have granite and Lillian perform a security sweep of the auxiliary systems room, cargo bay and crew quarters.

if at any time survivors are encountered state that we are here to assist them and recruit them into the repair process.
if at any time evidence of pirates ever being on board is detected ignore the above and fire upon anyone who does not immediately relinquish their weapon upon request. also rob the ship blind but do not let the engineering team see.

Good ideas, but you forgot about raiding the cargo hold too. Raid the cargo hold for anything small enough that we can get away with it without notice.

You're on one of the mining station's shuttles, the droids (there is a difference between drones and droids, being generally droids are more humanoid and more easily mass produced, AKA weaker) are back on your ship which is currently hooked into one of the station's repair yards.

In that case, we'll just skip the drones.

Wait we arent taking our own ship there?

That is detrimental to our thieving efforts.

Plan does not change, we will just steal whatever fits in our pockets.

Your ships being repaired of course you're not taking it :P

Also, here is a list of the named crew you've met and know so far.

Named Crew
Lilian - The head mechanic and engineer of your ship, she's really good with most mechanical things and has a knack for modifying or outright disassembling heavy machinery and the like. She has a tendency to be violent and angry at times but is reliable in the most stressful of situations.

Granite - An ex-UM Drop Soldier, and a man of a very muscular build which gave him the nickname 'Granite' to begin with. He is an excellent soldier, and your Security Captain. He is extremely good with guns and has been known to modify them, the twin pistols he calls the Skullcrackers being one of his most beloved achievements.

Cain - A very lanky and pale man, Cain is your ship's pilot and was at one time a very well established hacker. His piloting skills are rivaled or surpassed by few, and the fact that your ship isn't entirely destroyed after its romp through the asteroid field with only one of the engines working at a fourth of its max power attests to that.

With your plan laid out, and Cyphus' agreement all you have to do is wait, as time passes your crew members get ready with Lilian preparing the Hauler for void movement, the three deckhands preparing the suits, and Granite rigging a charge for use on one of the internal bulkheads. You simply sit off to the side with your gun in your hand, spinning its cylinder one last time as you check the bullets you pop it back in place and you here a dull click as it seals in place. The silence is broken as the shuttle's pilots talk over the intercom and inform you all that they're closing in on the freighter, when the speakers fall silent Lilian jumps up into the Hauler and pull the door of it shut before lowering the machine's void proof shutters.

With that done you all suit up, with you, Granite, and one of the more experienced deckhands getting the Reinforced Salvage suits and the other two getting the normal ones plus the hullcutters. The shuttle moves into position without a problem, and the blast doors to the cockpit thud into place as the cargo bay doors open to the void outside. Straight across from you is the sheer, char black side of the freighter's armor and within seconds the deckhands are in place and burning a hole through the plating.

After what seems like an hour you see one of them rear-back and kick the center of the plate they had been cutting, for a second it resists put within moments it slides inwards floating into the far side of the rather wide tunnel within. You all move into the tunnel, with the exception of Lilian who pilots her exo-suit up the freighter to try and fix some of the hull damage while you carry on with the mission. After a minute or two of following the maintenance tunnel you come to an emergency airlock and clambering inside you all (except the Grim Brothers who seem to never remove their suits) wait out the long sealing and pressurizing process before you are able to take of your suits.

With the suits off you move into yet another hallway except this one is dimly lit and a pair of signs point to the engine room on your right, and the elevator to your left. As you begin to move for the elevator however you hear your comms crackle on and Lilian's voice,

"Shit! Smith there's a few small shuttles attached to the upper part of this freighter, from the looks of them they're about to fall apart so I doubt whoever is on board is pirates but from the look of the guns on these things they are sure as hell used to a fight. Since we didn't pick up any life signs before getting here they clearly either aren't human or got something valuable.

Anyway before you go off and start something what do you want me to do to these ships? I mean they may be falling apart but if I just disconnect them we can take them as part of our payment."

Could you update the map with us on it? It would help a bunch. Thanks.

Take Granite and the deckhand in the reinforced salvage suit through the ship to the shuttles, while Lilian beats on them from the outside. Have the others proceed with the plan, but stay in radio contact at all times.
