Hastu turn back to the table and there a sausage butty. The sever seem to be asleep again.

Maria simply nodded at Gregor.

"So....what do YOU advise I do? I mean, I didn't really expect Kyle to outright say he likes me essentially, but..."

hastu starts to tuck into breakfast, using it as an opportunity to escape the conversation.

"Depends. Mainly, on whether the feeling's mutual."

"Well...I don't really know him that well, so I can't say that I like him in THAT way...wait, why the hell am I asking for relationship advice from a guy?"

Hastu looked up from his sandwich.
'Well a relationship does tend to involve both. But.... umm, yeah. i'd just tell him that. He seemed up front enough with you, return the favour. Better than leading him on.'

"Good question, Maria. I'd say it's because we've seen a grand total of one other girl in our age group. And she left the diner like twenty minutes ago."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"I will, Hastu...if he doesn't avoid me. He seemed somewhat scared of me this morning, and no doubt he'll probably avoid me later on.

I feel somewhat guilty now."

Maria sighed and walked over to the counter, leaving money for the meals that she, Hastu, Kyle and Gregor had.

"I'm just going to go to school, kay? Catch you guys later."

She walked to Longslade, wondering what awaited her there.

"Good question, Maria. I'd say it's because we've seen a grand total of one other girl in our age group. And she left the diner like twenty minutes ago."

Meanwhile Ash sneeze as she put on a uniform.

Hastu looked up at Gregor
'Wait, did she just pay for me? Not cool.'
He slid his empty plate aside and jogged after her, holding out the cost of his meal.
'Whoa..... I pay for myself okay? 'Specially after I so narrowly escaped turning up a half hour early thanks to you, kay?'

"No, it's on me. Seriously, it's fine."

'No, I insist. I've been forced to take charity far too much in my life already for my tastes.'

"Seriously, I said I'd pay for you lot's breakfasts, so it's fine."

[SomeStupidGuy]

"I swear, Maria. You just keep on raking in the karma."
Gregor chuckles and finishes off his coffee, then walks off to Longslade.

'Fine then, have it your way.'
Hastu looks mildly put out, and speeds up his pace a little.
