A good idea to test, but not a priority in my opinion.

I'm sorry, this is not that kind of game. If you want to make controlled substances, you'd better have a darn good reason for it.

I, for one, think I do. Since paint gives us Creativity through the mind-altering toxins, then a stronger mind-altering toxin should give us more. Drugs are typically a very strong mind-altering toxins.

There are legal mind-altering substances, too.
Like alcohol. Or paint. Or giving blood. Or paint. Or something creative. Or paint.

Marijuana is legal too, depending on jurisdiction.

But in any case, support 1 and 6.  Don't do 5, because it may be useful for other simply bad toxins.

Touche. I suppose that I'd be a bit more lenient with that than, say, heroin.

I can't help but be amused that no one has suggested the obvious solution to the toxin-screening problem.

So we're definitely giving the statue intelligence. We're also making a food-maker and animating a painted cat. We may also paint the cat to animate it (why did painting a cat get more votes than animating the painted cat?) and/or sniff paint.

Update coming, but I really need to stop doing FGaR and work on a paper.

This is Bay12. The obvious might as well not exist. But fine. Remove the helmet.

Firstly, to give the statue Intelligence! [20-5][-1 Creativity] The statue glances left and right. It seems to be...actively animate, at least. It's not really doing anything, though. Hm...maybe it doesn't see anything to do or something?

Next, a food-making device...hm. Let's start with making a device. After much consideration, you decide to make it like
this. [17,14][-1 Creativity] It's bare rusty metal, but other than that it's great! Now to make it make food. [11][-1 Creativity] A single button glows and a hole appears in the top. You press the button. Nothing happens. Disappointing.

You'd like to make a living painted cat, but you lack Creativity. Pondering this, you sniff at the paint. Drat...you contemplate many solutions, including removing the enchantment from the helm, but none sound good. Then you realize--the helm! Ripping it off dramatically (with slight bruising to your brow), you grab the paint can and sniff!
[+1 Creativity, +1 Toxicality] Yes! Creativity! You paint a scene on the wall, including a cat! [28-3] It's a very catty cat! Now...to make it LIVE! [29][-1 Creativity] Excellent! The whole landscape looks alive! Except that the cat is...a bit less motile than the statue was a moment ago.

Aw.

You grab your helmet, don it, and stare at the cat some.

Try again on the machine. Give the Sorceress a practical, softly sarcastic personality.
