Game II- Round 13: Reunion
Fancy McMonocle tips his top hat. "You are an honorable chap, Mr Foreman! I am honored to have dueled with such a foe." "Ptyew!" Hoyt spat out some blood onto the side of the field, rubbing it off his face with the back of his hand, which incidentally just got more on his face rather. He had a mad grin on his face, as if he was relishing every ragged breath, every inch of pain. "Yer damned roight we're no' done 'ere." Moving his neck back and forth, issuing forth cracks each time, he gripped his hammer once more steadily in his grasp. "Than's fer killin' dat monkee' was ah reel pain in mah side." He let out a chuckle at the joke, the two holes in his side still bleeding, usual boisterous voice was replaced by a calm one. For the moment, that is. "DEATH OR GLORY!" He screamed with the last of his might, swinging his hammer as fiercely as he could at the mustached mustachio golem.
Hoyt Foreman charged once again, but the second time around Fancy McMonocle was ready for a repeated attack. He stepped to the side at the last minute as Hoyt swung by again, missing, and the monocled mustache swung at him, the two of them reenacting something out of a bullfight. (4+1 vs. 1) Hoyt slows his charge down after the sword connects. (-6 HP) He stares forward into a bare splotch of clear forest. "Hey Fenci'...whose' 'em?" Fancy looks in the same direction. "What? How are you talking about? We're the only ones still here." Hoyt ignored Fancy stepping forward. "Nah', they comin' closa'.....hey! Its 'em! Relee' 'em!" He ran forward into the section of the forest he was staring at, dropping his sledgehammer behind him. "Mum! Pa! I knew ya' too' neva' relee' died! Com' gimmie' a big hag'!" Hoyt grinned widely and wrapped his arms around a space of empty air. And then immediately collapsed.

As for more mechanics I decided would improve the game, I'm going to implement a Disarming System.
In future games, getting a particularly hard shot to the weapon or certain parts of the body will cause it to fly out of it's users hand and onto the ground. At this point it's status will be that of an item or a chest, and can be picked up and fought over the same way.
I will be specifically noting whether weapons are held by one or two hands. Two-handed weapons have a sturdier grip, making them harder to disarm. On the other hand, if someone wields a one-handed weapon they are able to pick up and use another one-handed weapon at the same time. (But they can only attack with one weapon at a time, and by default they'll attack with the weapon that gives them more of an advantage. I.E., someone with a machete and a shield would use the machete for offensive attacks, and the shield for defensive attacks, unless they specifically want to attack with a certain weapon, which they can request.)
Everyone can only start with one weapon, but can pick up, drop, and swap weapons throughout the course of the match. Also, the weapons and inventory of any slain characters will turn into pick-up-able items.
