You guys know the Island Song, the one that plays during the credits of Adventure Time?
And have you guys read Annabel Lee by Edgar Allen Poe?
For some reason the island song sounds to me like the female perspective of Annabel Lee.
If that makes any sense. I don't know. It's probably just that both of them are "In a kingdom/town by the sea".

I like it.  Cute, but with a hint of malevolence behind those pink eyes.

That thing is a horror.  Nice technical achievement, though.

It somehow isn't quite what I picture Princess Bubblegum looking like.

Especially her hair which to me was always more puffy then stringy.

Isn't she supposed to be a teenager or something? She looks rather young.

At this point of the show? Young adult.

Earliest? 16

You know it just ocurred to me... wasn't that PB making not-so-subtle appearances 1000 years in the past in the Simon/Marceline special?  I think she's actually really old.  I suppose she can just rip off chunks of her own candymass to keep herself young, though.

Are you sure? That pink mass was awfully sticky and bubblegum-like. It also seemed to know about medicinesoup.

Given that Cotton Candy Princess must eventually give birth/create to Princess bubblegum, There just isn't enough time for that to happen if that was PB.

Just chalk it up to them being very similar in their age.

CCP didn't birth PB. The bubblegum ooze was PB's great x100 grandmother/father. Marcie has been tied with the bubblegum family since then, seeing as how they saved her life, along with Simon.

Saying CCP birthed PB is like saying the count of fire sired the ice king. Sure, Billy fought them, but that doesn't mean that Finn's friends and foes are their children.

Also, Simon's dead. That's what we were supposed to get out of Simon and Marcie. She's accepted his death and Ice king. So has everyone else. Heck, he was invited to the Princess Potluck. Ice King is less annoyance, more crotchety, senile grandfather who occasionally kidnaps young women.

Also, this is the best cartoon in a long while, I've been following  it from the get-go.

All I know is that CCP and BP are related (admitting likely her grandmother but given I don't know anyone else)

Where'd you get that information? I'm quite sure they're not related at all. They just share similar traits. PB is the next generation of candy princess, but they never ruled the same kingdom. It's like Billy and Finn. Finn is the next generation of hero, but he isn't Billy's son.

FAKEEDIT: Okay there's one mention of it on the AT wiki, but that's speculation based on a single photograph in the background.

Also, CatBug. Oh my gawd Favorite quote? "Snow peas!" ("DROP THEM!") "Okay!". Speculation as to who Ralph Waldo Picklechips is? Also the horse and Plum and Beth. Turtle Beth.
