I think the Ice Queen isn't the gender swapped version of the Ice King... I think she is actually the Ice King's girlfriend/wife that got the crown instead of him... and that the series will end with them getting together.

Rewatched an older episode and found out the reason why Marceline isn't a princess is because she is already a queen.

Something that sets her appart from Marshal Lee (who is a Prince) (and apperantly Jake is a prince)

I really enjoyed the Simon/Marceline special.  Those radiation zombies were pretty horrifying.  The show is definitely maturing.

So while I REALLY like the Fionna and Cake episodes, my brother hates them.

In fact my brother actually insults me for liking the non-comedy aspects of the show and says that I am just imagining aspects of the show.

I wonder if that is how others feel about the show, that it isn't meant to have any meaning or substance and that it is just joke after joke after joke.
