i might have had that problem myself, i fixed it by reinstalling windows.

As far as I know, the screen-freezes are caused by the switch to downloading resources on the go, rather than en masse on connection.

No, it's a software problem since most people get vastly better results by downgrading to an older version of BYOND. But man, do I really want that Noir round update...

It's not a round thing, it's an item that overrides the palette for the wearer. Namely Detective.

Can't use BYOND atm, unsure of if I'll be able to.

Hey Ice, you can actually have a secret USB and put BYOND on it. I'm not joking, it works perfectly fine and I did it  before when I went on vacation a few years back. And yeah, Urist has been dead the entire week.
