Before I make any snarky comments about how that barely looks like a working tech demo, can I ask what jobs the Building tab has? Engineering is already a department that exists, and I doubt that the Building department involves playing as a vending machine so... What jobs fall under the Building department? Did we really need a Building Department and not Medical?

Uhhh. Maybe they made Engineers focus on engines and power? I dunno. I want to try this demo. Quite badly.

there are literally no jobs in the tabs other than command and research. and we're not taking over any design from the goons, if there was any in the first place.

i don't think its obvious enough how barebones this is right now.
if you put something in your hand there's no way to get it out. if i pick up a jumpsuit and put it on me it remains in my hand. when i connected to the server my client disappeared and when i joined with another client the dude was still there. i clicked him and i got an orange jumpsuit on me. if i walk into the table i get stuck. etc

Download the code.
You'll need Monodevelop or Visual Studio 2013.
First, compile everything.
Then go to resources folder and run buildResourcePack.bat.
Copy the .zip file it generates into a folder called Media in the root of the project (the one containing SS13.sln file).
Go to \SS3D_Client\bin\x86\Debug\ for the client EXE, and to \SS3d_server\bin\x86\Debug\ for the server EXE.
On the client, hit the "connect" button and press enter.

I'm really sorry, but there's basically nothing to do right now and I don't even know the ports the server uses.
And I'm currently too busy trying to figure out how this shit works.

I don't even know how I would get the client to work outside of the hugeass project directory.
