The event is still scheduled for today right?

If we get 20 people, yeah. For 7 or so.

As the last shuttles launched carrying the Nanotrasen Enclave soldiers, the Wasteland breathed a heavy sigh. In the east, the Hub lay abandoned, a symbol of the futility of man. In the west, the screens of the Silicon Lords flickered, and then went dim. Their stubbornness had outlived them, as the satellite self-destructed shortly after. Meanwhile, the Nanotrasen Enclave geared itself for a true war. The slaughter of the wasteland survivors was not enough for them. They saw the wasteland as their right, and they will do whatever it takes to conquer it all in their name.

Despite humanity's continual suicide attempts, survivors lived on. War had found its way to the wasteland again, bringing more death in its path. While the larger shuttles carried the harbingers of death, in the small pods a glimmer of hope was found. Survivors lived on, aiming to forge a new place among the stars.

Yet hope is a fickle thing, and only one thing remains true for humanity. That is war, war never changes.

Thanks for playing all.

As I mentioned on the server, it is the 2 year anniversary of Urist in 3 weeks. To celebrate, I'm going to be holding different events every Sunday until February 8th. I hope to see you all there!

It's written in C#, with an Entity-Component-System architecture, so most stuff is defined in XML files. This basically means that you'll eventually be able to do DF-style modding without needing to learn C# (we'll probably implement a scripting language sometime, but I'm not entirely sure)

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

I'm glad I took that C# course a year ago then. How would one such as I get in on this right now. #Spacebus?

Yeah, just join the #spacebus channel. The topic contains a link to the project management thingie we're apparently using (phabricator), but apart from that and the pads, there's not much to get in on yet.
