I like ss13 paperwork...

IRL paper work on the otherhand is aggravating some days.

I used a ID and crowbar to stop a borg from attacking me on the shuttle.

Hey, you were the one who wanted to commit suicide. And since the airlocks didn't open, I figured I'd help you.

OK. So, for those who don't know what the hell am I yelling about, Bay had an idea for an alternative Cult mode: instead of the usual rune-drawing, this cult is based on worship, generating Worship Points for the Mask. Who in turn is another player, who functions kind of like AI - incorporeal and able to view things through objects - in this case, cultists; it also grants and uses its own powers by using up worship points, newBlob-style.

Now, this looks like it's still quite beta and the test is mostly to determine if it's worth continuing, but I'm hyped up as hell.

The Mask should manifest on cultists. Maybe even occupy the face slot or cost major points to be incorporeal.

No, they are a separate entity, basically the local representative and part of Nar'Sie.

Don't worry about UBERSTEA-- oh wait, was it cult? - the thing is, the amount of Worship Points you get depends on how conspicuous you are with your worship - pray quietly, and it's a teensy trickle, pray out loud but not loudly it's meh tier, do a Creepy Latin-esque ChantTM in public and it's a decent amount.

And if THAT happens, the mask should have enough points to bring out the creepiness (and, per instructions upon becoming one, you are actually told to be creepy).

Ah yes, since it's a large, round-impacting role, they made it so you can replace the current Mask if it goes AFK or something.

I'm still hoping Hand of God is finished so we can port it.

That idea has existed for several months iirc

Also Neerti is working on a similar mode for /tg/ (the thing J/L mentioned)

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

It has, but then was abandoned, then picked up again recently.

Suicide, wait 30 mins, respawn as human.

No. Those are completely different. One is competitive, cult vs. cult, other is basically extended regular cult. The only common thread is the worship part, which is different too. tg's is kinda RTS-y, with base-building, whereas Bay's is more ritual-focused.
