I want a Diceman AI.  With actual dice.  :P

Nah, I tend to like either the default Bay, Asimov or Corporate sets.  I've no strong opinion either way, really.  It's more how they're played, not what they are.

I much prefer Asimov, although we will have to change it slightly or clarify what 'human' means to accommodate the alien races of course.

"Crew" is a good blanket term for that, or maybe "Nanotrasen employees" so that the AI don't go around murdering ERTs.

Official Nanotrasen Employees would be an umbrella that includes traitors but not any invaders.

Sentient beings maybe?

I personally agree with not harming sentient beings. Would make AIs less murderbonery for invaders, while in turn giving some conflict between it and the crew in those situations(If that's good and all)

Oh someone was asking about laser scalpels last night. You should be able to make a basic one with minimal research; improved, advanced, and IMS need materials from mining. The scalpels simultaneously make an incision and clamp bleeders and the IMS incises, clamps, and retracts. They work like normal scalpels for non-opening steps. The higher the tier, the better the success rate.

I think Asimov could just be kept the way it is, but the game should prompt the AI at the start of the round telling it that the alien crewmembers should be considered human.

BS12 just added Z-level support to ZAS. Disabled for now, but it is there.

The code switch didn't go as smoothly as I planned, I think I may have meddled in some strange dark arts better left untouched.
