Just go in as an assistant, and ask over OOC if anyone would be willing to teach a newbie how to do the job they're currently doing. Chances are within minutes you'll be tailing a more experienced crewmember and learning useful tips all while getting used to the interface.
A good one if you plan on doing anything really you can ask the person named Hector P****** / Mag how to do something and I'm sure she'll help you do it.

So far, the game looks extremely interesting.  The only thing that's really bothering me is the fact that the chat's on the right hand side, there a way to change that?

I've just been floating around trying to get a bearing on everything, there's been some fun things afoot already :P

EDIT:  This round really needs a janitor, holy crap.

Objective #1: Space is a dangerous place. Make sure everyone has a weapon to defend themselves with. This is definitely not a ploy by the Syndicate to break the station down in a string of violent murders, like the Earth cities of yore. Success!

I amused myself too much with that round. Combat shotguns and lasers for everybody! And the most challenge I had was *forcing* someone to take my antique laser gun.

B BORG had telecomms fun to break in the newbie.  I was Darth Vader, Dadmir Dimitri, Momamir Dimitri, Andrew Jackson, and Hans Panda.  I blamed it all on YOU, Hans. But it was the only fitting end to the madness heheh.

Gotta admit, I just hid in an O2 locker for 10 minutes in arrival, then I moved to the fitness area afterwards.  The radio chat was fun that round though, was wondering what was taking you guys so long.

I have survived many manhunts by hiding in those o2 lockers while my pursuers walked right by. Of course if I was taunting or talking to them I have to go silent for a few moments. I also got a crew to murder the research director after having my CE upload code into the telecomm computer and just trash talked as him over the radio for awhile. Objective Completed!

Just remember to turn off pumps! Although beware since apparently you can now be randomly damaged when disposaled.

It's best to keep rescuing other people if someone is trying to kill you and them. That way you have a person to soak up stuns/lasers for you.
