You write the contents on a piece of paper first, then go into the back of the library, where a book-binding machine exists. Stick your paper into there, and it should eventually spit out a book. For bonus points you can use your pen on the book to change the author/title/contents.

Pick up a sheet of paper and a pen. Write. Put sheet of paper in book binder. Apply pen to book to change title and such.
If you want to write a wall of text, use about 1020 characters, hit okay, click write again. Rinse and repeat.

Also, how do you write books?

Get a piece of paper, and write to as much as your heart desires (Or until the character limit.) Go to the top of the library, and look at the book binder. Slap your piece of a paper in there, and wait for it to spit out a book. Take a pen and use it on the book to change the title/author. If you want to upload it to the external database for future rounds, go to the librarians desk and use your book on the scanner. After the scan is complete, use the check in/out computer and click on add to external database. Your book should show up, then you should be able to upload it.

Anyone with librarian access can use the computer behind the desk. Books have to be scanned on the scanner next to that computer.

Yeah. AI seemed selectively useless. I put Poly next to the mass driver in the chapel after finding it outside robotics. I couldn't use the mass driver.
