What heresy is this?
The kind that would get a man shot multiple times in the head, of course.

What in the name of Stalins Panties are you talking about?
Uhh, I think the answer is 2.6?

How does Bay12 feel about The Office?  I'm thinking about watching some... I just need a show that is kinda fun and not wildly offensive.  It doesn't have to be really good.

Both the UK and the US versions are pretty alright, nothing wildly offensive that I noticed. Didn't find either particularly amazing, but if you're just looking to kill some time they should work. The US version is probably the better bet just because its length. Can't vouch for about the second half of the series though.

Yeah, I seriously just want something that will make me laugh and won't require very much attention.  If you've got a better (legally free online) option I'll go with that, but for now I figgered it could be fun.

I just checked and Book Group is on Free Hulu and I enjoyed that, if you can understand extremely Scottish accents. It's pretty short though, something like 12 episodes.

I should mention that almost all of the humor in both The Offices is based on the embarrassing stupidity of the characters. It can be funny at times, but that's kind of what turned me off the shows.

How would Bay12 feel about becoming their own mentor in a troubling time, as in Night Watch?

Could I keep my identity secret so as to have a dramatic reveal when BBG kills me?

"Student, you have always known. You and I are much alike.

Much alike..."

In which case yes. Seems like something I'd do.

I'd be totally okay with that, but it would be difficult to separate the two MZs. Take that as you will.

I never got into it just because I watch very little TV, but I enjoyed what I saw. Steve Carrell is awesome as a guy who has catastrophically bad ideas and doesn't realize they're catastrophically bad ideas. And has the power to enact them.
