Next week, I should think. But there's no hurry, I guess. I'll probably go for reanimating heads. Need to think of something more to use a severed, talking head for than snarky commentary, of course.

Intimidation. Decoration. As a (thrown) weapon - it can bite. Light it on fire and use it as a lantern. Sew it onto something and animate that something for a Frankenstein-ish monster. Sew it onto something and don't animate that something to annoy the hell out of the severed, talking head.

The sky is the limit. And perhaps even there I'm wrong. Launch it into space on a satellite mounted with a broadcasting device, and have it broadcast propaganda.

I thought to go for some kind of wisdom deal, for Mimir's Head reference points. And the irony of a goon of, uhh, middling wits becoming my wise advisor. Maybe some kind of warning or protection system could work. Now that I think of it, that would open the possibility of a ghostly disembodied head suddenly taking out all the surveillance Jack has on her right now.

Hmm, hmm. So many delicious possibilities.

I feel like I've got Red down much better than in the last few posts now, more like the first one or two. I found a great set of music for the last few parts. I'll proofread and correct it and then get it up. I hope that you'll like reading it as much as I'm pleased to have written it.

In case you're wondering why I constantly keep people up to date on how my writing is doing, despite the fact that I'm far from the only player in this game: it helps me keep track of myself and it aids my half-decent concentration.

Edit: Done!

I don't think anyone minds these updates; any sign of a player working is a good sign!

Yes indeed. That said, I'm going to try to get some work done tonight after kicking the shit out of some punkass interstellar empires getting up in my turf.

That sounds like a game. Which game?
Don't tell me if it's addictive. Especially not if it's a 4X game. They can keep me up all night.

True, the hype may have let people down but the sense of power it gives me as I bring literally billions of years of history in developing a species completely to ruin because they charged me too much for refilling my energy tanks is amazing.
