Question, since I'm curious.

Does absorbing beings build up Acts, or cost them? Or both, possibly, requires an investment of an Act but gives me more the next turn, maybe?

It'd probably depend on how powerful the being that got eaten was. If it were a player, of course she'd gain a few acts. If it were a normal mortal, she'd likely have to eat an apartment building or something in order to gain any substantial Acts from it.

That said, if I end up killing any of you your souls are being wiped clean and used to power my butler service or something.

Wonder what Nate's reaction to Holly's disappearance will be?

Just get your steady trickle of Acts like a normal person. Taking souls is a risky prospect. They're always falling off shelves and being stolen by crotchety old wizards.

Stealing Acts from people in the past is a cool idea. Thanks!
Oh and yeah, souls.
Blame Magnus, he dropped the jar.

Ooooh, damn.. I forgot to act. Now I have to read up.
I think. If I'm still there.

At least I'll have a lot of interesting stuff to read.

See, now we're all secretly scared of you because you have two or three acts saved up.

Merlin exists in a simultaneous state of overconfident bravado and mind numbing paranoia, so not really - yet.

I like Red because he's creepy while doing ostensibly justified things. There's always a feeling that all his actions are less random acts of kindness and more like stepping stones towards something bigger.

So who's the nicest of the gods? The most morally upright, pure-hearted, etc. one?

Jack hadn't actually killed anyone (with her own hands, that is) before this update. She likes to keep her hands clean as much as she can, purely for the sake of her own conscience. Oh well, self-defense and all that. Fniff, you murderer.

Ignoring Duffey, I see.
Disregarding that what I did to him was far worse

And supernatural casino.
But yeah.

I think the fact she keeps a brutal* hired killer on her payroll and lets him do jobs as he wants with no moral qualms is a bit more of a warning sign.

*He's really a big softy inside.

Anyway, Fniff, to confirm, are you expecting me to make a choice on staying/taking a ride with the intention to throw something else at me? Jack does have her mental link with Magnus. I'm not exactly sure what you had in mind here.
