When naps take 12 hours, you know its best and prudent to act in the utmost respect and not tattle on a tired man :P

Take your time by the way, I'm just awaiting the next drought.

That's an idea for an event!

I rather suspect that that would cause grow food actions to fail...

Another form of mythological rain is golden rain, which makes people pregnant...

I am tempted and afraid to ask for that to be added as an event,

Ugh... too much... just too much.
ROUND 18 HAS ENDED

Your event cards for the day are...
Burst of Inspiration! RAM has a sudden burst of inspiration - any points spent towards research are doubled. (Overflow is lost)
Nothing of note.

A card has changed!
Terrible Accident! [A random player] has suffered a serious accident, and loses 3 hit points.
Has become
Terrible Accident! [A random player or child] has suffered a serious accident. If an adult, the player loses 3 hit points. If the target was a child, they are killed.

Pox Outbreak! A random player or child acquires The Pox. (-1 happiness, 0 hunger, 0 damage, 1 dormancy, 0 slow, 25% infect, 20% recover)
Has become
Pox Outbreak! A random player or child acquires The Pox. (-1 happiness, 0 hunger, 0 damage, 1 dormancy, 0 slow, 25% infect, 20% recover, 10% child mortality)

Dysentery Outbreak! A random player acquires Dysentery. (-2 happiness, +1 hunger, 0 damage, 1 dormancy, 3 slow, 25% infect, 75% recover)
Has become
Dysentery Outbreak! A random player or child acquires Dysentery. (-2 happiness, +1 hunger, 0 damage, 1 dormancy, 3 slow, 25% infect, 75% recover, 70% child mortality)

Something has happened...
Talvara pushes the frontier! He discovers Nothing of Value.
Primitive Healthcare has been researched! Now that this has been researched, more information is known about this technology.
Primitive Healthcare (cost: 15 time) - A basic understanding of what works and what doesn't when treating illnesses can potentially lessen an illnesses ill effects or help a person to recover more quickly. When using a [n]Nurse[/b] action, the target regains an additional point of health at end of turn, and gets an additional 1% bonus to chance of disease recovery per rest action taken.
Basic Child Care has been researched! Now that this has been researched, more information is known about this technology.
Basic Child Care (cost: 10 time) - Gain the Childcare action.

New Action is available!
Childcare (requires Basic Child Care, cost: 3 time) -  Using this action grants a child an additional point of happiness, and gives them a 50% chance to avoid the effects of certain Bad Events.

New Research is available!
Childhood Nutrition (requires Basic Child Care, cost: 10 time) -  Your knowledge of child nutritional needs means you may feed a child an extra point of food on their third turn. When they become an adult, they will start with one higher point of max health.
Group Care (requires Basic Child Care, cost: 10 time) - Juggling more than one child is an arty you've mastered. You can care for up to 3 children with a single child care action, with no decrease in efficiency.
Improved Child Care (requires Basic Child Care, cost: 25 time) - Unlocks additional research opportunities, grants the childcare action more protection and a boost to the childs learning ability.
Basic Healthcare (requires Primitive Healthcare, cost: 25 time) - It's not enough to apply primitive poultices and make the patients comfortable. It's important to learn which treatments are most effective against which diseases if they are to be overcome quickly, and the best aways to avoid being infected by the patient in turn.
Primitive Medicine (requires Primitive Healthcare, cost: 25 time) - A personal touch is valuable, but perhaps common substances can provide a special boon to fighting illness... Allows the creation of harvesting of simple medicinal plants from empty plots with various effects. You will be granted one at random, and given the opportunity to research the others.

ROUND 19 BEGINS
STUFF! FINALLY!

P.S.
I would be interested in trading away two empty plots for an irrigated field.

P.P.S.
So... Anyone willing to lend me two turns of food so I can finish domestication?  You can keep my trinket as collateral (reminder for both of us, and to get it off my hands so my happiness drops to acceptable levels).
I should be able to manage that. Though keep your trinket, no point in you getting miserable, unless this is a deliberate ploy to lower your happiness...
Giving me your plot of land as collateral would make more sense...

P.P.P.S.
Wasn't something supposed to happen when someone hit 20 happiness?

That was a major part of it actually, I'm shooting for around 14 happiness.  And I think I need to turn my plot of land into a pasture before I can get the food to pay you back, so I'd like to keep it.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

2* learn grafting from GWG

(can be changed)

GWG, can you teach me Grafting and Companion Planting? I'm sure you will teach it to your child anyway.
In exchange I will give you health techs. It's probably too late for me to overfeed (so to speak) your child, unless someone gives me food now (to research Childhood nutrition) and next turn (to give your child). :/
But I'm offering to do so for next childs, assuming you provide the food for your children, 'cause I dont have irrigated fields or anything. (I would lke to, though)
Also childrens have happiness now. Great news.

EDIT: included learn action.
