That's a wee bit harsh, seeing as you didn't mention that until just now...

Everyone makes a post containing their new character sheet, based on the result of the previous round and any external modifiers, updating stats as appropriate. This should be spoilered. Do not read the character sheets of other players! The only bits that are public are the properties you've claimed and the research you've completed
I didn't change THAT bit. :P

ROUND 1 HAS ENDED!
Congratulations, first settlers, at reaching the new land first!

Your event card for the day is...
Bounty! All Grow Food actions on the previous turn produce an extra two units of food!
Bounty has been returned to the Event deck.

In light of recent events, a new card has been added to the Event deck.

ROUND 2 BEGINS!

(You lucky bastards! You had a 1/6 chance of getting a good event, and you go and get the BEST one!)

So, since we generated 2 food last turn, do we all have 1 food now since we ate 1 last turn? Also, what exactly do coins do? Are they just for trade purposes?

Holdings: 1 Plot of Empty Land (2 food), 1 coin

I meant we'd start stabbing the walls and floor for points and not just for science.

Nope, I would have mentioned if there were.

Wwolin, you generated an extra 2, so you have 2 remaining, one of which (presumably) you will eat this turn, leaving you 1.

The purpose of items is up to, where the purpose is not explicitly states. Coins are special in that they will never become easier to produce than they are now (meaning they will never become less valuable or difficult to make).

Congratulations, everyone who's posted so far. You have failed.

Hey, I managed to do it, you just weren't listening.
Hey, some people just do it. I don't, not with tiny character sheets.
Anyways.

An explanation of Capacity:
Plots and Claims have a "capacity" value. These come with an amount of their associated resource equal to the capacity. Whenever you exploit a resource source, that capacity is reduced for that plot by the specified amount, and the resource is added to your inventory.

As such, all of your Plots have 3/5 food capacity at the moment - Farming last turn reduced it to 2/5, and the recovered 1 at the beginning of this turn. This means that upgrades like irrigation will eventually require you to let some fields go fallow and work others instead while it recovers.

Also, you can let/have others work your resources and use your stuff! Good to know for the future.

Wait, do we need to make our inventory public?

Making our "in progress" progress public makes it easier to process our turns. But it also gives away how many time units our various actions cost, which could reveal our secret stuff...

What format should we use for our actions?

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.
