Posted before your edit. I don't want to see you (Edit: and the thread) being torn apart for the rawest form of troll fuel either. Is it something that you'd pursue when readily available, or that you'd pursue when better then the alternative?

Neither.  It is more a matter of convenience and/or gain to 'act and speak ethically' on the subject.  You know, like a person who only agrees with the group cause it causes less problems for them or they stand to gain for doing so.  What is the word for it?  I can't bring that to mind right now.

I thought you might answer that. Judged on the animals merits alone, would you not care? Edit: No more sidestepping.

... Have what I said earlier not answer that?
Nature takes its course.  People can be jackasses.  It is not my problem.

Seems a little shortsighted. Comes off like immigrants to the west being homophobic, to be honest.

I'm pretty sure I don't personally have a problem with animals...  I just don't care about them enough to... care.  (Not human/not in my monkey sphere.)
Unless I am misreading that comparison.  Plus, I'm not entirely sure what you mean, since I don't know much about that.  So, I don't know if I should be offended or not.  Heh.

E.g, someone who mistreats his dog and is never reprimanded for it is more likely to do the same to other people under similar reasoning.

Oh my, running with some big assumptions there... implying that since I don't care how other people treat their pets/animals, that I also would mistreat mine.  Is that right?

Bullshit. Apathy means that you don't go out of your way for it. My point is if you didn't intervene in such an instance, it wouldn't work out well for you in the long run. What did you expect me to say to "it's not my problem"?

Red meat builds powerful people. I don't plan on living a sterile, anemic lifestyle of frailty and meekness.

Except that there are vegan bodybuilders.
