That's why he'll abuse the straits.  Put an army detachment on, say, Euboea, to siege it down while using your navy to cut off access.  Withdraw your land forces, withdraw the navy, then when the Greeks send their entire army into the province in order to siege it out, send out the navy again and knock down the entire mainland while they can't respond.  Sadly, the purchase of those German Type 214s, so long maligned, shall put paid to these notions of blatant AI abuse, and Papandreou shall finally have the last laugh from beyond the political grave.

The presisdent of the Greek island of Cyprus has recently met with Putin, to discuss allowing Russia to build a naval and airforce base near Paphos and Limmasol.

This has led to great indignation and concern in the UK, since the Royal British Airforce also has a base on Cyprus, and Russian bases on the same strategic mediterranean island are percieved as a threat to their security.
