The fact that the majority was lost in part to HDP, a party of laft-wing politics, gay rights and ecological principle is also great.

Sadly, not enough seats for a CHP-HDP coalition. I wonder how things will go, is anyong here familiar with the Turkish political process?

Anyways, the article does say that the HDP refused to do a coalition with AKP.

Yeah, so the possible coalitions are AKP-CHP (I don't see that working), CHP-HDP-Grey Wolves (Somehow, I don't see Green Gay Kurds and Far-Right nationalists work together, although they might depending on how much they hate AKP),  of AKP-Grey Wolves (Which I could see working, but that's my tendecny to lump all evils together.)

HDP and Grey Wolves together is virtually impossible. I could see the nationalists looking the other way and backing AKP, since Erdogan has kept up the kind of ultranationalist bullshit like imprisoning journalists and activists who question anything about Turkey, Kemal Ataturk or the Armenian genocide. Same strongman politics as in the olden days, now with just a bit more Islam.

Plus the nationalists absolutely despise the Kurds.

In more important news, you remember how France protested and huffed and puffed when Belgium announced we wanted to mint a special 2 euro coins to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo? Well, we folded. Instead of producing a 2 euros coin, we'll do a 2.5 euro coin. :p
