equip 1 human and 1 goblin with spear. send human scouting east, send goblin scouting south
They should try to find the actual mountain pass. Tolls are fun.
Yes. Sounds good.

Have a goblin (the shaman if he accept) dig the pit with the shovel. Under that lone tree near the cliff a bit north of us.
Set two humans on woodcutting duty. Axe and saw. Do not cut the tree directly west of our tool, directly north of us and north of the goblins.
The camp will be put between the three said trees and the cliff. The trees might be used as "towers" for a future palissade drawing between them, and with a little work we may put watchers in there. Bam, watchtowers with little to no effort.
Someone begin digging inside the darkest cliff part.

EDIT: crappy drawings:

We want a birthing pit soon, but we should try to get the birthing pits underground. Goblins need their privacyto  stab  us

Turn 2:

Site:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You send off some scouts to explore the surrounding area.

You tell Gargle to set up the birthing pit to the north inside where you plan the palisade to be. He takes one of the idle goblins to help him as it isn't the job of a shaman to dig a hole. Just watch it being dug.

You have the Humans begin mining and chopping down trees.

You move the banner and tools so that they won't be in the way when you get around to building the palisade.

Monty is talking to one of the goblins who is idle while the other idle goblin discovers blue berries in the bushes while he wanders around.

Take someone off of woodcutting and have him/her investigate the white things.

Have a goblin try one of the berries to see if it is edible. Just *one*.
We could probably have one of our assigned scouts go and investigate could we not? If that would be a hassle, then one of the woodcutters i suppose.

Those are scouts? I thought they were guards.

Turn 3:

Site:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The human scout sees some small animals as he heads east and decides to check them out before leaving. They are small, white, fluffy and have six legs. Six legs is a bit unusual.

You have the goblin who found the berries try one. You and the other idlers watch him. He says the taste is pretty bland.

Stream(south):
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Meanwhile to the south the goblin scout crosses the arbitrary zone border and discovers a stream. The stream flows south east.

Gather some of the berries, but make sure no one eats them yet. Maybe they can be fermented.
Have the scouts continue to explore the nearby zone divisions.

Can an idler help mining? With the hammer maybe?
