In other news, I've been putting thought to the traveling troupe idea, mostly in that it could be hilarious. If we ever need to get somewhere in secret, hiding that we're mercenaries or whatever, we should do this. Or maybe just do it just because.

I don't plan on expanding it beyond that really, just "hey, lets do a traveling troupe!" for now. Heck, by the time FEF is done and FEF 2 rolls around we'll probably have a better one knocking around in our heads by then.

The color for the scales was taken directly from the character's sprite that you posted. They just look a little different when painted over most of the body instead of hidden underneath

Priest/Trainee. There's not a whole lot of difference between the two

Looks really good, but I thought of a difference. I'd intended for his coat (the blue portion) to be longer, so that could work for trainee and lengthening it to about the knees would work for Priest. ^^^

Like I don't do the same thing? Don't worry about who you are or aren't as good as or better than. If I did, I would hate - for example - FFS (non-pixel art), Solifuge (pixel art), not to discount the other talented artists here (such as the guy who got me using triple carats, Logrin) on Bay12. If you're worried about your own level of ability, then take it from me: you'll get better, very quickly. ^^^
