So we've got the first instance of someone not showing up. I'll give everyone at least 24 hours after the previous turn is posted, but if I'm ready to finish the turn and you haven't submited an action, I'm asking the IRC. And they have no attachment whatsoever to your character, so watch out.
Turn 4<- Turn 3 | Turn 5 ->I get on the intercom to tell everyone about the police report.
3. You run to Mr. Kleinsman's office to get to the intercom, but he's at his desk.
"What do you want, Nix?"
You hold up the police report. "The building. It's going to disappear at noon. We need to get everyone out."
He leans over and takes the report from you, then inspects it. "You expect me to believe this?"
"I don't know how it got here... it must have been time travel or one-eyed aliens or something. But it's a warning."
Mr. Kleinsman hands the report back to you. "Nix, I'm going to assume this is a prank because the alternative is that you've gone insane. If I hear a word that you're trying to convince anyone else of this prank then I'm going to fire you. Security will escort you from this building alongside whoever started this scuffle in HR. Do you understand me?"
"Sir... but... the building..."
"I admire your dedication to humor, Nix, but now is not the time." He escorts you from his office and closes the door. On the bright side, it seems that everyone near his office heard your conversation. On the other hand, they're all looking at you like you're crazy.
Check one of the computers and assess the amount of trouble the virus causes. If we're lucky, and I mean very, very lucky, they have recently updated the AV-program.
6+1=6. It seems Eustace flipped a switch somewhere that cut power to all the cubicles, turning all the computers off at once. It also seems he broke it. Wiring isn't your specialty, but you fiddle with it for a bit and all the computers in HR regain power.
You head over to an empty cubicle and log in. Several seconds of inspection reveals that the "Dwarf Fortress.exe" virus was just an ASCII game, and there never was a virus in the first place. It seems all your problems are solved. You then leave the cubicle, turn towards IT, and realize that the whole department is dark. Finance looks the same. Maybe you shouldn't have touched that power switch.
Cellabait with a cup of tea.
3. You walk to the break room as all the power goes out in Finance. It's probably nothing. Upon arriving, you realize that the microwave is unpowered and there's no way to heat up your tea.
"Ah, fuck! Man, I didn't do it, I swear!"
Jake says this, just before the metal bar smashes into his CD stack, shattering them all.
"OH NO YOU DIDN'T!"
ALRIGHT! THIS IS PERSONAL NOW! HE WANTS TO FUCK WITH ME? I'LL DEFINITELY FUCK WITH HIM!
Wrestle the bar out of his grip.
2. You flail your arms about but don't even manage to touch the pipe.
He swings at you with it (5) hitting you right in the chest for 3 damage. "Who's got the sick beats now?"
Tackle Lindeman, and be a hero!
4. You position your rolling chair against your desk, then kick off. You slide out into the hallway and then leap off the moving chair at Lindeman, dealing 0 damage to him but knocking him down. Several spectators are impressed by your heroism.
