I love how nice you guys are playing Maja. Especially considering how, before you started, you got into a bar fight that was apparently bad enough that you were thrown out of a pub, with concussion-induced short-term memory loss.

I assume we had our reasons.  The guy was apparently a dick.  Best to stay away from drinking though, just to be safe.

Apologize, and attempt a much less witty, simple joke. Such as the feather is only there so you don't lose your quill.  Then leave.  Don't give her a chance to respond, LADIES LOVE THAT SHIT.

Not having the last word? Hell no, they hate it. But they hate it so much they'll come after you just to have that last word.

If I was looking for a witty comeback, I would have made a comment about the strange purple thing attacking her head. Or that she seems to be a seamstress on the cheap considering the two strips of ragged fabric she's wearing on her shoulders.

But too late for that, time to make a social turnaround.

-> Admit that you've made a bit of a fool of yourself and that this sort of thing isn't really your strong point, after all, we can't all be as witty or fashionable as her. ROLL DIPLOMACY CHECK FOR BOYISH CHARM.

If that goes well then maybe try being friendly and kinda ask her for some tips? ROLL DIPLOMACY CHECK FOR SMALL TALK.

You have purple hair, you tell us!

Well after careful examination of the sprite, the light-brown parts of the vest are bulged, indicating breasts, indicating she is a woman :P

There go my hopes for flamboyant gay man :c

I really like the smell-o-vision; it's very cute.
Oh, I feel a swoon coming on. Someone call the guards, for this dashing dandy and his fanciful cape have stolen the very strength from my knees.
Okay, now we absolutely must recruit this elf lady into our party. Reply back, "You're lucky I didn't find a matching vest to replace this padded armor, otherwise your legs would have instantly lost all structural integrity."
+1 +2 +3
Best response.
I was going to complain...but wit is good. Wit without hubris would be better, but this is fine.

HEY!

also, +1 Whoops, didn't see the update

Stammer out an apology, and then try to act cute. Because our situation really can't get much worse.

Yeah, before it turns into a thiiiiiiiiiiiiis-fest.
Thiiiiiiiiiiiiis would be a good idea.

Stammer out an apology, and then try to act cute. Because our situation really can't get much worse.
Well, no. This seems like a way to smash our own dignity on purpose. There's enough other people to do that on purpose, and enough accidents for us to self-wound ourself, so no need to do so.

Apologize, and attempt a much less witty, simple joke. Such as the feather is only there so you don't lose your quill.
This works.

We came to shop, not to play romance with the girl. Ask to see the wares, buy stuff, bid her good day, then leave. Without giving her a chance to respond, if you must.
