I'd say I'm at about Pennsylvania or upstate New York then?
Turn: I start by ordering the beginnings of construction on the Needle's textile mill.
Next I order the planting of wheat and cotton crops in a nearby valley.
Finally, I send out my hunters to begin acquiring hides.

Name: Alto Manus.
Region: North.
Get me boys to mining. Have others trap some beasts and start domestication/farming of said beasts. Have some people begin using stone mined from nearby mountains to begin construction of roads connecting Linderia's cities to Proelia's. Finally, get some farms up in the valleys.

Have my lumberjacks begin raping the environment. Cut down trees.
Begin construction on a saw mill.
Any leftover civilians will begin working on constructing makeshift walls.

Post your actions in bold and I'll sort it out later. 
Sorry, just trying to make it easier on the GM.

1.Expand cattle ranching via hiring Indians and establishing cattle routes for cattle ranchers.
2.Set up some subsistence farming.
3.Start expanding the harbor along the Atlantic Ocean.

Set up some basic shelters, and begin subsistence farming. If anyone is left over, have them mine or chop wood.

((We may be needing status summary thingies soon. I have no idea if my little corner of the world has any buildings or if it's close to the sea or anything really.))

1. Begin cutting down trees around the initial landing point.
2. Build fishing boats using collected wood.
3. Install farms, if possible, in the lands freed up by the woodcutters.

If so,
Set up some farms and search for edible plants in the woods. (Say, Morningglow?)

In not,
Request that GM describe where the colony is.

1. Begin to mine out ore in the hills.
2. Have homes cut out from the moutains near the mines.
3. The people in the few valleys should set up small farms.

Just posting to say that I will post my turn once I hear some more from the GM. Namely about the state of the colonies, my position on the map etc.

Economy: Cotton, Tobacco, wheat/general farming and foodstuffs, timber.
Name: Nicolas de Haviland

From his colonial seat in the port town of Orenburg, Nicolas set about stimulating the colony and creating foundations for strong economy.


Send a request to the homeland/king to make colony tax exempt for the first 5 years of its existence to stimulate its growth.
If the king agrees, all new colonists get a tax-free period of 3 years, as well as access to farming plots.
All colonists have to pay for the wood cut down though. They are told that payments in tobacco and cotton will be accepted.
Prepare a suitably large piece of land for private estate and tobacco plantations. Free men are to be employed there and paid.

Oh yea, seeing as there are quite a few mining colonies, quite a few of you are gonna have to change that when we start, as you live in the ore less South.
I am the greatest of the mining colonies, therefore the other colonies are posers. Don't worry everyone, when I unite you all under the Proelian rule, no longer will you be as weak an pathetic as you are now.

IMPOSTERS!


The COMPANY should get the resources! I am, after all, the most loyal.

1)Set up basic agriculture, of both the meat and non-meat varieties. try to have as much variation as possible.
2)Start prospecting for significant metal sources. If found, start construction of mines.
3)Send some men out to cut down lumber for construction. Guarded by the musket-men (i assume each colony has a small garrison of mucketeers to help defend them? if not, just arm the lumberjacks so they can defend themselves.
4)Plan out and begin construction on a small town.
5)Build a Wooden fort and medium sized docks for trade.

Optional:

6) Start construction of a watermill to power an irrigation system.
7) Begin construction of roads to he other colonies.

because it is hard to manage 13+ people. 

I'm also changing some of your back stories so nobody gets overpowered.

This obscure post took me a little while to find, but yea since I'm managing thirteen people, it would help me the GM get updates faster.

No you do not get musket men, you get militia.  Arming the populace is a good idea.
