What is this? The last development from Webbity Web inc., The Tug!

What it does?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It brings a truckload of pushing power into low kerbal orbit!

The fuel is routed so that you can turn off al mainsail and keep pushing only with the highly efficient nuclear engines, to squeeze even more dV out of it.

It comes with the same docking strut arrangement on front that is fitted on the Webbity Web inc. Part Transport, for secure dockage and safe pushing.

Recommended to be used with Payloader. :P
The only problem I have is that it's tall. >_< My kethane carrier is also tall. I think adding the two will make it not fit in the VAB...
Hmm, I guess i could use it to bring tons of spare part into orbit at once. Maneuvering to dock would he awkwark, due to the weight. Bop the station and it dies.

But that is not to be added in vab you launch it and dock with things that need pushing

Fuck, is it broken? Iwas asleep when you posted that and i cant really do much now.
If you cant wait at all, just skip my turn entirely. I havent really accomplished anything besides a few sat launches.

It was working when i downloaded it yesterday, so i guess it doesn't matter if it works now.

I am not quite sure about my mission yet, but i started out ferrying a 100 parts to the space dock

I have been designing a kethane driller, but greatorder wanted to do that: i guess proper kethane infrastructure will take more than one turn anyways.

What do you mean?

...Oh. Well, the problem I have is getting many tons of mass into space from earth, not in orbit. >_< Maneuvering heavy canisters of spare parts takes a long time to dock with the space dock.

I wanted to do that too. xD

The kethane infrastructure will need 3 parts:

Driller, refueling station in orbit and a fuel hauler.

Let's say we do one of them each?

I'm also thinking of making a moving space station, designated for Jool.
Gonna make it in orbit, then let others ass landers to it, then on my next turn fly it to Jool, and let people land their landers.
Anybody interested?

We should have a way to make sure that drillers stations and haulers have all the docking port at the same height so they can actually be attached

Who's up for making a standard for that purpose?

Do you need to be docked now? Kethane used to have a short range transfer mode.

Can i have my jool platform on it if it is light enough?
Or my manned science probe?

Ill have specs and pics sometime tomorrow maybe.

The kethane infrastructure will need 3 parts:

Driller, refueling station in orbit and a fuel hauler.

Let's say we do one of them each?

Mine was slated to be an orbiting station, with heavy duty converting abilities(huge solar panels, around ten large nuke reactors, and four medium converters), storage (four 1.5m kethane tanks, an orange tank, two monoprop tanks...), construction (orbital docks!), and simple mapping abilities (a ISA sat and a kethane detector, to enable one to roughly estimate where to drop off a miner). The idea was that miners would rendezvous with it, send over all their kethane, and refuel before heading down again. Miners probably would want to have a small kethane converter, if only to make sure they have enough fuel to get back into orbit.
Carriers jetted over from Kerbin could dock with the station to send kethane back to Kerbin, though I don't quite see why. :3

Having a fuel depot at both KSC's would be nifty. Generally fixing up the second KSC would be awesome.
