Where's the second KSC? The small island near KSC?

We should have a way to make sure that drillers stations and haulers have all the docking port at the same height so they can actually be attached

Who's up for making a standard for that purpose?

I was gonna add all kinds of docking ports to the driller(i'm aiming for a huge 200 ton one).

But how do we dock it? just land on the docking port?
Or land a truck that drives to the station?

Also, 1 orange fuel tank is not enough for orbital storage.... should be more like 6 :)

Working on the kethane scanner, pictures coming.

@Ank: The aim of my carrier would be having the fuel just for refueling carriers and miners. The aim is that tankers would come for delivery to a more accessible, larger storage facility.

Is it possible to enter Jool without instantly dying? xD

Im gonna try when i can figure out interplanetary travel.
I have heard weird and evil non-newtonian things happens if you enter Jool.

I just had a thought: can the zeppelins float in Jool's atmosphere?

If so, that'd make for a nifty base.

But you won't be able to exit the flight without ending it.

This is the miner i'm working on, still need a good name:

Notice the three docking ports on the sides, meant for truck docking, of different heights.

The kethane scanner is in a polar orbit around the Mun.

Made an ugly and way too big lifting vehicle, then scrapped it in a favour of a smaller prettier one:

Not winning any beauty pageants, but it'll do.

Damn you Emtpy fuel tanks!!!

Luckily the probe was capable of getting to the moon on it's own:

Why not. You can just leave for the tracking station, right?

but only if you are in vacuum or landed.

I have never tried airships, but I don't think you can get them to stay still enough to count as landed.

You can't. I tried that before, I wanted a nifty floating atmospheric base joined by docking ports and floating in the atmosphere but you can't do anything but 'end flight' when in atmosphere and not landed.

What is this? The exceptional SSTOAB*

What it does?
It can start from the space center, get into orbit, deliver 500L fuel* to a station and land back safely*!

Ideal for shipping fuel from a kethane refinery to a space station without using up spare parts, especially when launched from moons and asteroids.

It comes with the same docking strut arrangement on front that is fitted on the Webbity Web inc. The Tug, for secure dockage and being safely pushed around.

*Single Stage To Orbit And Back
*Tested on Kerbin, expected performance may vary according to the selected body; unsuitable for Jools and Eve missions.
*Chutes not included and sold separately; recommended for missions on atmosphere infested bodies.

I'm liking these designs. I'll play with the fuel lifter a bit on my next turn.

D: I guess I'll have to be scrapping my designs at a base Dx
Cursed late positions on the list. :(

I noticed I am not on the list, can I grab a spot? By that time mun colonization should be a given so I'd build a orbital construction station orbiting that.
