Go and test the wall, tapping it and stuff to see what it is like, with bread in hand. Obviously.

Walk up to the wall and kick it, if it falls down or vanishes go join Hedge.

Pick up the gloves and hurry back to the Central District to put them on! Then, go West! Because Clockwise.

(Jarrod... your fucked... at least you didn't set yourself on fire.)

Either ignores the guard or just didn't here him (which is doubtful). He keeps heading north but notices something rather strange... he has fur. He stops and starts looking at his body. Instead of his blue jumpsuit he always wears he's completely covered in silver fur. Though he doesn't feel any different, rather he feels completely normal. Then he notices he has a tail... but it's moving on it's own. He tries touching it with his hands (which are now paws with long black claws) and it passes right through the tail. Before he can figure out what's going on he hears the guards start yelling at each other.

"Oh shit it's a monster!" One guard yells and aims his gun at Jarrod. The others do this as well, deeming Jarrod more of a threat then the gloves.
"You knows the rules, shoot first and don't regret it," the middle guard says, "Fi-"
"But sir... what if he's a person? And it's just some god's trick?" The guard on the far right says, interrupting the one in the middle one.
The middle guard merely says, "Don't regret it," and then yells out, "FIRE AT WILL!" Then all but the guard on the far right shoots without hesitation at Jarrod.

To the guards, Jarrod assumed the form of a silver werewolf. Without any flaws whatsoever. The only way one could tell it's just a mere illusion is by touching him. Jarrod puts up his hands in front of him and starts to yell something, but by that time he had already been shot multiple times and fallen to the ground. By some miracle, or possibly a curse, he's still alive... but not for long. He'll soon bleed to death. [-45 HP, Major Bleeding]

While all this is going on, back in the small room, Ben kicked the wall where the stairs used to be only to find nothing but air. This caught him off guard since he was expecting some resistance and almost loses his balance. The first thought that passes Ben's mind is that this was is an illusion. Especially considering half his body was in the wall. Ben proceeds up the stairs with Jamie following him (testing out the wall himself with his +bread+).

At the top was something half-unexpected. Half because as expected Hedge was at the top waiting for them, but he had an old man pinned to the ground. While Hedge was waiting for Ben to leave the room, he caught the old man trying to pickpocket him and trying to steal the glowing sword. Being trained in mixed martial arts, Hedge's first reaction was to defend himself. That's why Hedge had the old man pinned to the ground. Also curiously enough, the old man had Jarrod's welder. The same one Jarrod used to set Hedge's hair on fire.

All of a sudden, a hawk appears on Ben's shoulder. Before anyone could put on guard by it's sudden appearance, the hawk speaks. "Do not be alarmed. I was created to protect my master, the one call Ben," it says, in a very dignified manner. Sort of like how you would expect a butler to talk. That is when they hear the gunshots from the south. "Hm... seems a beastman was shot," the hawk inquires. It's incredible vision allowed it to see incredible distances. [Ben gained a companion!]

Description: Hedge is 5 ft 6 and 250 pounds of muscle. Has short black hair and pale blue eyes.
Short Bio: Hedge grew up as the little kid in school, always being picked on by the bigger kids and always ignored by the girls.
When he turned 14 he joined army cadets and began to bulk up through training and shortly after he began taking martial arts.
Deciding that he wanted to help other kids who grew up similar to him he got a loan and used it to buy a small building which he converted into a training area and then began taking in children like himself and then over time anybody interested and training them to protect themselves.

Short Bio: Jarrod loves his work. When he was young, he was always fascinated by fire. By the time he got into High School, he was working at the local mechanic, fixing cars that had part broken off. When he graduated, he decided to open up his own shop, selling his own metal creations. Weapon Replicas, Statues, anything that could be made using a bit of metal and some ingenuity. He's always been a bit accident prone, but he works through it. By now, he's made a name for himself in the art business. He's moving on to some bigger projects, and is currently building his own car from scratch.
